Here is my take on Neon. She is an agent that honestly shouldn’t belong in a game like Valorant. Her sprint and slide kit feels more suited to a game like Apex Legends. There is even a character there, Octane, who can literally run faster in a similar way to how Neon does. But now that she is already in Valorant, the question is: what can we do about it? My answer is to simply buff everyone else instead of endlessly nerfing her. I don’t think it’s healthy to keep nerfing an agent every time their pick rate goes up. Players will always have favourites, especially when they watch a pro completely run riot on stage with that agent. Some of that popularity is just hype and player preference, not raw power level. If an agent is truly overpowered, then raising the floor on the weaker agents should be the play. Make everyone feel strong instead of turning the outlier into a clunky mess. In this case, I think they especially need to buff sentinels, since the meta has already shifted toward double duelist comps. Give sentinels more tools to punish reckless entry, stall Neon’s space-taking, or provide stronger info and traps so that pure speed isn’t always the best answer. If Riot wants agents like Neon to exist, the rest of the cast needs the counterplay and power budget to actually keep up, instead of the game slowly turning into “who abuses movement the hardest.” Again this is an online discussion. Please feel free to disagree but please stop throwing insults and attacks to each other or even me. I swear I need to make this clear whenever I do a post lol. 🚨 A NEW FEAR UNLOCKED FOR PARENTS… 😡💔 An 8-year-old special needs boy choked to death in his own school cafeteria — and the adult he ran to for help allegedly sent him away instead of helping him. His name was Cruzito Ruiz. Cruzito had suffered a traumatic brain injury at just 3 years old, leaving him physically and mentally disabled. Because of that, he was placed in a special education program at Bass Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada. On February 25, 2025, Cruzito was eating lunch when he began choking on a chunk of pineapple. The lawsuit says the little boy did exactly what a child is supposed to do when they’re in trouble. He walked up to a special education aide and tried to show he couldn’t breathe. He pointed to his mouth. He gestured with his hands. He patted his chest and back. Another student even told the aide something was wrong. But instead of recognizing the signs of choking… The aide allegedly told the little boy to go to the restroom. Security images reportedly show Cruzito clutching his chest while being pointed toward the cafeteria exit. So the 8-year-old child walked away alone. Inside the restroom… he collapsed. His body turned blue as oxygen stopped reaching his brain. By the time staff realized something was wrong, precious minutes had already passed. Paramedics eventually removed the pineapple from his airway with their fingers — but it was too late. Without oxygen, the brain begins dying after just four minutes. Cruzito never woke up. After five days on life support, the 8-year-old boy was declared brain dead and died on March 2, 2025. Now his mother has filed a lawsuit saying the school and the aide failed a vulnerable child who came to them for help. And parents everywhere are asking the same terrifying question: If a special needs child can choke in front of an adult and be sent away… how safe are our kids really? 😔💔
