Tengo 30 años y llevo 20 años sin tener contacto con un bebé o un niño de manera "recurrente". En mi entorno nadie tiene hijos, no tengo sobrinos, ni primos pequeños y mis amigas aún no han tenido niños. Soy la hermana pequeña pero tengo dos hermanas mayores (45 y 39 años) que no tienen hijos. Estoy entrando en una etapa de la vida donde cada día noto más que quiero ser madre y que he conseguido tener suficiente estabilidad para darle un buen futuro pero sin embargo, no tengo ni idea de lo que es compartir tiempo con un niño. Parece una tontería pero cada día que pasa siento más miedo a no formar una familia y sé que quiero romper con esos patrones pero me han vendido que la maternidad me aleja de mis objetivos, que "se acaba mi vida", que aún soy "demasiado joven" y todos esos discursos han calado en mí de una manera superficial pero están ahí... No entiendo que nos está pasando como sociedad.

I’ve never owned a smartwatch. Nothing against them but as a watch enthusiast there was just something about them that just didn’t feel right. I bought this Casio 16+ years ago and it’s been my daily ever since. Never changed the battery and my dog almost completely chewed through the band ~8 years ago and it’s still intact. No subscriptions, no monitoring and no worries. It works as good today as it did the first day a put it on my wrist. Get yourself a Casio, go into debt if you have to. It’ll be the best watch you ever own and the last watch you’ll ever have to buy.
