@soccerj75 @DerKanzler62281 @Wario64 You must be responding to the wrong person. Neither of us bought it. But just so you're aware, all you have to do is add those other games and front ends as non-steam games and they'll work with the new controller. I sometimes launch BigBox through Steam Big Picture just because.

@DerKanzler62281 @Wario64 Imagine spending $100 on a PC controller that cant even play PC games outside of steam so if you have another frontend like Launchbox, EmulationStation or even your own digital PC games that were never bought on Steam then youre out of luck but sheep will be sheep.

@Wario64 We used to get a surprise retro re-release around May 4th each year. Sadly, not even @AspyrMedia seems to be bringing anything out this year. Still waiting patiently for someone to realize all the gaping holes like Rogue Squadron to be filled.

@johnL_99 @AsmilaJ @thedaywar90 "Donating his time" - last I checked, his golf bill alone is burning through tax dollars at a phenomenal rate. And you want to talk about $50 million on travel? How about the Billions (with a B) that Trump and his family have accrued from his time in the oval office?

You have it backwards. Trump was a successful developer and is now “donating” his time for the good of America. In contrast, Hillary has grifted for years, including soliciting funds where 40 percent of the top donors to the Clinton Foundation are based in foreign countries, used the Clinton Foundation to spend more than $50 million on travel, destroyed her government email server, etc, etc, etc.

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Former U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton: "It is shocking that Trump said no one informed him that Iran could close the Strait of Hormuz. I find it unbelievable that one of the fundamental pillars of geopolitical strategy in the Middle East was ignored. That was the first thing we assumed Iran would do. It is their main tool of global leverage. We are now seeing the consequences of a foreign policy driven by impulse rather than strategy.

@WaitedCloth8140 @xgramiliki The difference is the overall placement of the sticks. An asymmetric layout is fine, so long as the sticks are toward the front of the controller and not the back. Steam Deck is a great ergonomic example of asymmetric sticks.

@jerseyh0mo So 500 eye witness testimonies isn't good enough? Okay. How about 70,000? Seventy thousand people witnessed thr Miracle of Fatima in 1917. Atheists and agnostics were converted on the spot. None of them disputed what they saw. Seventy thousand. Checkmate.

In 1999, hundreds of people in Belgium and France reported that they felt sick after drinking Coca Cola due to someone claiming the drinks were contaminated. It resulted in a massive recall of Coca Cola products. After an investigation by health authorities, it turned out to be a case of mass hysteria. The drinks were completely fine and the people had made themselves believe their bodies were sick. Just some food for thought.

@GTAVI_Countdown "New consoles will target xx80 tier performance.." This is claimed before every single launch and yet it always ends up being xx50Ti or xx60 performance. They never learn.

PlayStation 6 vs Xbox Helix: - Both aim to make 4k120fps gaming the standard with similar performance to RTX 5080 - Xbox features a much larger APU (408mm2) than PS6 (280mm2) because they aim to produce a PC-console hybrid capable of 240Hz gaming to compete with high-end PCs - PS6 will be more efficient and its main focus is ray-tracing - Xbox Helix is backwards compatible with all games while PS6 is only backwards compatible with PS4 and PS5 games - Xbox Helix price: $1,000 - $1,200 - PS6 price: $550 - $650 - Both targeting a late 2027 launch (via MLID)

@Wario64 Still trying to make us believe EGS is a viable competitor to Steam @TimSweeneyEpic? It should be obvious but this isn't how you do it.

@MHolvast @BeastOfTruth I think they mean to say that XBox leads the industry forward. Not in console or game sales, but in innovative direction. It's true that XBox has pushed gaming forward many times, far more so than Sony. Sony is pretty complacent and comfortable with keeping the status quo.

@BeastOfTruth I love both brands.. But to say that "xbox is once again leading"... That's laughable. They have not been leading anything since xbox360

So Playstation is going backwards into the past by once again making its single player games console exclusive While Xbox is taking gaming into the future by giving console users something they've NEVER seen before in bringing PC games to console Once again Xbox is LEADING! 💯

@asha_shar I just want the idea of exclusives to die. Let me play what I want, on the device I want. Period. XBox was going in a great direction in porting games to other platforms. Get rid of losing money on hardware. Just make good software, and make it available everywhere. Profit.

Great start to the morning with Team Xbox, where we talked about our commitment to the return of Xbox including Project Helix, the code name for our next generation console. Project Helix will lead in performance and play your Xbox and PC games. Looking forward to chatting about this more with partners and studios at my first GDC next week!

@nate_x @PlayStalgiaX It's easy to say that when looking back. The reality was that $600 back in 2006 was very high for a console, especially when it didn't have things like the DS3 at launch. I worked retail back then and we couldn't move them at all the first year, even when bundling free BD movies.

@PlayStalgiaX PS3 was worth every bit of $600 on release. I stand by that.
