@ajoneswilkins @Speedgoatkarl My favorite race of the year. You can genuinely feel the history and hear the ghosts as you climb the hill, going from desert to forest. Beautiful, brutal, and so fun. When I hit Oro Belle with just 4 miles to go, I look back and see Lake Pleasant, knowing that's where we began.

Our officer, Tim Holt, captured this crazy moment as water surged down the #PipelineFire burn scar on the San Francisco Peaks yesterday. Tim, who was on the mountain helping enforce closures, said it was "pretty intimidating" to watch as this powerful act of nature happened!
