It's unpopular because it's the most trash take of all time. You listen to officials directing you on the course. Every athlete who has ever been in this position would disagree with you, because you are wildly wrong.

This is heartbreaking. Terry was part of the reason I got into media. His early days with Dan McNeil were my formative years, then the decade-plus with Dan Bernstein was the best sports radio show I've ever heard.

@CespedesBBQ Agreed. He got less than Joc last year. That nullifies the "big bat with holes who cant field" rationale for his number. I didn't think he'd get 8/180 like MLBTR projected, but 5/90 seemed reasonable.

Cannot remember the last time the entire industry was so off on a free agent contract projection (us included).
Clear that teams had real concerns about Murakami’s defense (he’s not a 3B) and about the in-zone whiff. Definitely worth the gamble for the Sox though.
