Imagine walking into a car dealership and saying: "I love this car, but it's out of my budget. What if we remove a wheel to bring the cost down?" The dealer stares at you, confused: "But… you won't be able to drive it." "That's fine. I'll make it work somehow!" This is exactly what happens when clients try to slash project scope to fit a budget that’s too small. You end up with a three-wheeled website — and guess what? It’s not getting you anywhere. Here are my two rules for pricing projects: 1️⃣ Never negotiate your rate. Instead, negotiate the scope. 2️⃣ If cutting the scope means the project won’t achieve even the minimum viable goals, the most professional (and kind) response is to say no. Because a three-wheeled car — or website — isn't going to save money. It's just an expensive way to stay parked.

It's becoming more and more clear that literally anything is possible. There are no inherit rules in life. There is no reason why you can't have, do, or be anything and everything you want. The only thing holding any of us back is the persistent way we view reality. Our minds create the boundaries we perceive as fixed and immutable. But these boundaries are largely self-imposed. They are products of our conditioning, fears, and limiting beliefs about what's possible. When we begin to question these assumptions and explore beyond our comfortable patterns of thinking, we often discover that many of our perceived limitations were simply stories we told ourselves. The true challenge isn't in the external obstacles we face, but in our willingness to expand our vision of what's possible and achievable. Each time we push past a self-imposed limit, we create new evidence that our potential extends far beyond what we originally imagined. This isn't about magical thinking — it's about recognizing that human potential is far more expansive than we typically allow ourselves to believe. I encourage you to start questioning: - What if the barriers I perceive aren't as solid as they appear? - What if my current view of reality is just one of many possible perspectives? - What extraordinary life could unfold if I dared to pursue my deepest aspirations rather than settling for what my current mindset tells me is realistic?

Today I’m breaking down my top 8 favorite @webflow tools! These have become essential to my dev process and I recommend them to anyone looking to boost efficiency and deliver polished, professional Webflow websites. 1) Lumos by Timothy Ricks After using Client-First for two years, I'm a full convert of Lumos. It's a unique and extremely powerful class-naming framework designed with efficiency, scaleability, and accessibility at its core. The flexibility and customization of Lumos is unmatched, and Timothy is constantly improving it with even more Webflow wizardry. 2) Relume Icons by @relume_io & @flowgurus An extensive library of thousands of open-source SVG icons ready to copy + paste right into your Webflow projects. I used to paste the provided HTML embed right into Webflow which allowed me to change the colors (via font color) and create hover states without the need to upload multiple images, but now I use the SVG code and tool #3 for even more flexibility. 3) SVG Import by @timdaffx Lets you copy + paste SVG code directly into your projects as editable custom elements — enabling precise customization through native Webflow panels and providing full attribute control, CMS color binding, and seamless support for animated and complex SVGs. 4) Fluid Builder by Timothy Ricks Helps you create truly responsive designs that adapt smoothly across different screen sizes and user preferences. Use the pre-populated Lumos variables, or swap them with variables specific to your project or class-naming system, to ensure everything from typography to site spacing scales dynamically. 5) Attributes by @finsweet Use Finsweet's extensive JavaScript libraries to add site functionality via custom attributes — no need to write custom code from scratch for every project. They offer a variety of great solutions and will be adding much more in the future. 6) xSync by @xAtomTeam This Chrome extension prevents class and variable duplication when copying and pasting elements between projects (will create "button" vs "button 2" for example). It streamlines your workflow by automatically managing styles and avoiding conflicts, saving time and ensuring cleaner builds. 7) CMS Clarity Kit for Webflow A robust CMS reference guide that makes the CMS setup process as easy as copy + paste. It includes pre-defined collection names, field types, help text, and developer notes for the most common CMS collections — saving time and eliminating guesswork for streamlined, consistent CMS setups. Grab this resource for free right now by commenting "CMS" and I'll send you an access link. 8) The Unreal Development System for Webflow The project system I designed to streamline my Webflow workflow, with every step meticulously documented to help me build better projects faster. It has significantly improved my fulfillment process and client experience. If you’re interested in getting access, comment "System" and I'll send you a link to the waitlist. What are your favorite Webflow tools?

Everyone wants more leads and more sales. But here’s the real question: Do you have the capacity to handle more leads and more sales? If your business isn’t optimized and chaos reigns in fulfillment or delivery, new sales will only amplify existing problems, not solve them. Because growth without a solid foundation doesn’t scale — it crumbles. Before chasing more leads and sales, pause and ask yourself: 🤔 Do I have the systems in place to ensure a seamless experience for every new client? 🤔Can I or my team handle an increase in demand without becoming overwhelmed or burning out? 🤔Are my fulfillment and delivery processes effective and reliable, or am I running on duct tape and hope? Growth isn’t just about adding more; it’s about building a solid foundation that can support the weight of success. So slow down. Build up your systems. Streamline your delivery. Strengthen your operations. Then, when the leads pour in, you’ll be ready. By the way, if you need help systemizing your Webflow business to support the growth and sustainability you desire, send me a DM. I'm happy to help.

Why are you still doing this the hard way? Every time you set up a new CMS collection in Webflow, you're stuck: ❌ Guessing which fields you actually need ❌ Rewriting the same field names and help text from scratch ❌ Digging through old projects trying to remember the ideal configurations Starting from a blank slate every time isn't just tedious — it's killing your productivity. But it doesn’t have to be this way… What if your next CMS setup was as easy as copy + paste? Imagine having a simple reference guide for all the most common CMS collections — articles, categories, tags, FAQs, team members, testimonials, and more. ✅ Field names? Done ✅ Field types? Decided ✅ Help text? Ready ✅ Developer notes? Check No more guesswork. No more wasted time. Just streamlined, consistent CMS setups — every single time. That's why I created the CMS Clarity Kit for Webflow, and you can grab it for free right now. Check out the link in the comments below. Happy building!

When I first began building client sites in Webflow, I was disorganized and overwhelmed. I wasted countless hours on every project, losing track of my progress and retracing my steps. It was inefficient, stressful, and led me to doubt myself and my skills even though I had years of experience building websites. Worst of all, it kept me from experiencing the flexibility and freedom that inspired me to become an entrepreneur in the first place. Instead of spending my time on things that actually mattered — like being with my family, pursuing my hobbies, or growing my business — I was locked in my home office battling exhaustion and burnout just to keep up. I knew there had to be a better way to manage my limited time and attention, so I started searching for Webflow project resources online. But I was disappointed to only find incomplete checklists sharing high-level concepts while ignoring all of the small but crucial details. Even more, none of the resources I found gave me the ability to come back hours or even days later and seamlessly pick up exactly where I had left off. That’s when I realized I needed to build my own system that allowed me to: - Stop worrying about missing steps and focus on the work itself, not task management - Build top 1% Webflow projects with consistency and efficiency - Have more confidence in my work and client experience so I could charge more per project - Increase my profits by delivering projects faster than ever - Expand my capacity to take on more projects without added stress or burnout - Take the afternoons or Friday’s off and come back knowing exactly where I left off With these goals in mind, I created the first draft of The Unreal Development System for Webflow and it literally changed everything. When I implemented my new system, I didn’t just build better websites — I built a better business. Within one year: - I increased my rates by 7x - I grew my revenue by 10x - I completed projects twice as fast on average (even as their complexity increased) The best part? Because I was making more money working less hours, I was able to spend more time living life outside of my business. When I launched my Webflow agency, this system became an essential resource for working with a team. I’m fully convinced that this system is what helped my agency become a Top New Partner finalist in the 2024 Webflow Awards. I’ve been using this resource internally for years, both as a Webflow freelancer and now as an agency owner, to completely transform and upgrade my business. This system is responsible for tens of thousands in additional revenue and countless hours saved in my business. Now I want to share it with other serious Webflow professionals who want to elevate their projects, streamline their workflows, make more money in less time, deliver outstanding client experiences, and scale their business — all while protecting their time and sanity. For anyone interested, the waitlist link is in the comments.

You can change your life by changing your beliefs. But most people don't know that it's even possible, let alone how to do it. It's not a passive process... You don’t change your beliefs by continuing to believe the same things and then hoping that things will be different. You change your beliefs by asking yourself "is this belief getting me the results I want?" If not, it might be time to choose a more beneficial belief and then start looking for evidence to support that new belief. That’s the active part. Eventually, you will stack enough evidence in favor of your new belief that it will be hard to imagine that you held yourself back for so long.

I've planned so much in my life and rarely (if ever) do things work out how I thought they would. A north star to keep you heading in the right direction is often good enough. You'll figure out the rest along the way.

You change your current beliefs by looking for new evidence to support new beliefs. You don’t change your beliefs by believing the same things and then hoping that things will change. That’s the active part. You have to intentionally look for new information that supports the new beliefs you want to have.
