@AlexsOptions But M is still green. How do you decide if monthly buyer is still there?

@chuckthetrader Hm, closing above/below trigger and closing red or green is not the same thing. Do you use both conditions (close price vs trigger and candle color) or either of them?

@itoytman Failed 2 closes back above the trigger in the direction So F2U would close red F2D would close green

@AlexsOptions How did you stop out of the short so quickly? Did you use smaller TF?

Being able to do this without really stressing at all is awesome. I took a 30$ loss then made a nice gain That is #TheStrat When we're right we are REALLY right, when we are wrong we aren't very wrong at all.

@ihors3 Doesn’t buying to cover drive stock price up? And what is the difference between buying to cover and trimming short exposure?

Shorts buying to cover does not drive stock prices down, but shorts trimming exposure as a stock price declines can signal the shorts seeing a price floor and want to realize their mark-to-market gains before there is a huge rush for the exits on the short side which would create upward price pressure as buy-to-covers bid up the stock.

@ihors3 Explain how trimming short position equates to stock price drop.

@AlexsOptions I guess I was looking at indicators at the bottom (why are they all red btw?). So if Monday opens green then we have D/W green countering M sellers… I see your point

@itoytman FTFC can not be calculated over the weekend so no. And if the bar was still open the D 60 are green which is HALF of known participants so I am unsure what you are trying to say when it comes to FTFC

This is my FAVORITE trade setup. Where we create a motherbar [a bar that encapsulates all the following bars] Then we make a new low to it or a new high. Then we form a 2-2 reversal or 2-1-2 reversal

Every winning position has 3 ingredients when analyzing one timeframe. And much like when you make your favorite meal, it's still good if it has only 2 of the 3 ingredients, but all 3 tastes even better. +New highs or new lows +Actionable signal [inside bar, shooter, hammer, 2u red, 2d green] + Back through a previous range of long or short traders. In this case we had what we call *slight* higher highs. followed by an actionable 2u-2d shooter reversal back through a previous range of long traders. This is how simple trading can be. #TheStrat
