OBSESSION ENDING SPOILER TALK: I find it more sad and fucked up that when Nikki (the real her) wakes up from the wish when Bear dies she essentially is left with three bodies and her future is completely destroyed, I find that somehow worse then Nikki taking her own life.

He's the villain. From the very beginning. Even when he knew it was his wish that caused all of this, he asked to alter it so that he can still have some control over her autonomy rather than taking it all back and setting her free.

Bear is not immediately the villain of Obsession, as he simply couldn’t overcome his overwhelming insecurities for female affection. However, there is a certain point (or two) where it’s made abundantly clear to him that this isn’t a game and something is extremely wrong. Yet he does nothing about it and continues to believe that he can make this situation work. That’s when he officially becomes the villain because the situation completely spirals out of control.
