@RvLeshrac @JFest I didn’t say that Elgato was using those APIs but it was more to prove a point that there are in fact W11 exclusive apis & W10 hasn’t had any feature updates since ‘22 & WindowsMediaAudio / AudioGraph had some improvements in W11 that maybe could give their software lower latency

@itsSilverlink @JFest These aren't important for the hardware that elgato produces. They're marginally important for things like Realtek/nVidia/AMD noise cancellation, but the elgato hardware and software has no reason to care.

@itsSilverlink @JFest As a software dev, none of those exist that would add any value for any elgato device user.

@RvLeshrac @JFest Maybe their software is using Windows API’s that are not available or exposed in Windows 10 🤔 But I agree with their decision though.

@JFest The trick is, you don't have any reason to *forcibly* "drop support". What, exactly, does your software or hardware need that is exclusive to Win11? You don't need Win11 for any version of .net, and the driver framework doesn't require win11.

hey @ElgatoSupport, Did you guys know that there is a memory leak in the new Wave Link software? Software started only like 4 hours ago with around 300-350 Megabyte in use Someone on Reddit also reported this: reddit.com/r/elgato/comme… theirs was using around 14GB of memory...
