To my mind the worst part of the Budget was the effective doubling in the “entrepreneur tax” when selling a business from 25% to a world record 47%. Either Treasury did not know or care - which is worse ?

Trainers, We are investigating an issue where Adventure Sync may be turned off, or may turn off again after being re-enabled in Settings, after updating the app to version 0.411.0 We will share an update as soon as we have more information. #PokemonGo

@NianticHelp are you addressing the adventure sync bug since the last update? Adventure sync keeps turning itself off. I’m on L77 walking 400km and also trying to complete the Spring marathon timed research, so this bug is disadvantaging me.

I have a Chinese friend, Chan. He and his family (including elderly parents) moved to Australia 9 years ago to escape Communism. They bought a business in Townsville and work 6 days a week. If Labor wants to use inflation to calculate your capital gains tax then inflation should also be taken into account calculating income tax brackets. Two way street and all that.

If you want my take on the budget, I'll be blunt. It's a sh*t sandwich, and now we're being forced to eat it.

Capital gains tax shouldn’t exist. I risk my money. I build the business. I make the investment. I do the work. I take the risk. So why the hell should the government take a cut of my success? They risk nothing. They create nothing. They just take. Parasites. F’en parasites.

At least Shorten had the integrity and conviction to take these tax changes to the voters. The public rejected them at the ballot box. That’s how democracy is supposed to work. Shorten lost the election, but kept his integrity. Albanese won the election, but lost his integrity.
