Here we go again. Another over the top celebration at 12u. If you think this is good for baseball, you are the problem. Bat almost hits him in the face after the spike, then all the "look at me" antics, and you gotta love the cameraman on the field running with the kid. What a joke. It's all a show...🤦🏼‍♂️

Official attendance for today’s game at Tointon Family Stadium: 2,344. I remember not too long ago when this ballpark was nearly deserted during games. Pete Hughes and Co. have truly brought this K-State program to new heights. Impressive atmosphere today.

Love this from #Illini head coach Brad Underwood - asked if he has any issue/finds it unfair to have to play Houston IN Houston in the Sweet 16. "I could care less... I'm an old JUCO ball coach. I drove on 16 passenger fans. I drove from Dodge City, Kansas to Mesa, Arizona for a basketball game... If you had told me back then that I'm getting to coach basketball in the Sweet 16 and play Houston - I would sign up for it, I would crawl to get there." Says regardless of where the game is, Illinois would/will need to play well to beat the Cougars. (Video from NCAA)

@NWKSSports @RossVolkmer @A1avelar Please understand, KSHSAA is not trying to change anything that is mentioned in segment 3. Segment is inaccurate. The state legislature is imposing on the KSHSAA membership. If it does pass then yes KSHSAA wouldn’t have events on those days as well.

Not sure how many HS coaches & admins are even aware of this. I’m not sure the legislature understands the ripple effect this will have on high schools in larger districts/populations. The voids won’t create rest, it will create voids private trainers/club sports will fill.

Well said. If you live in a decent sized town I refuse to believe it’s necessary to travel for games for kids under high school age. There are plenty of teams to play in your city.
