Fetterman calling empathy for Palestinians "suicidal" isn’t a demonstration of support for Israel. It’s a moral and strategic dead end.
J Street believes Israelis and Palestinians alike deserve freedom, security and dignity.
We support Iron Dome and Israel's security.
We unequivocally oppose Hamas and the terrorism Iran funds and sponsors throughout the region.
We have nothing to do with Hasan Piker – a fact Piker himself would undoubtedly be the first to confirm.
Our conclusion: there will never be lasting security for Israelis, or freedom for Palestinians, until the occupation ends and both peoples can exercise their right to self-determination.
Sen. Fetterman was once endorsed by J Street. His latest attack suggests he never really understood who we are or what we believe. Smears and slogans don't make Israel safer.
A serious commitment to Israel's future means simultaneously defending its security and advancing Palestinian freedom and self-determination.
In the end, that is the only pro-Israel path as it’s the only way for Israel to remain both Jewish and democratic - and that is what J Street has always stood for.

I receive comments from zionist accounts, and the one thing they all share is using the word “ugly” to describe Palestinians or anyone who supports Palestine. And right after that, they jump to the topic of child marriage, as if it’s some uniquely Palestinian tradition. What’s ironic is that they never mention uncles or cousins marrying their nieces in their own communities, and they never mention Epstein’s crimes against underage girls crimes that were fully exposed and documented. Their crimes and filthy practices are proven with evidence, while “Muhammad’s marriage” or “the promised land” are nothing but unproven stories and recycled myths they use whenever they need a moral cover to attack Palestinians. And to be clear: I stand against child marriage. Period.
