@GawrGuraIsHot@heyyritik_@Minecraft 4jcraft/portableLCE was the only one that didn't add anything to the game and just made it playable on more than windows
@heyyritik_@Minecraft It's good that they dmca'd THEIR property. People were making way more than just QoL and new blocks. They were making ugly clients and stuff with watermarks (looking at you smartcmd). I love that the source was leaked so we can tinker but don't violate the nostalgia of old LCE.
It's 2012. You just got home from school around 3:30. You toss your backpack on the floor, grab a snack, and head straight to your room. You turn on your Xbox 360, hear that startup sound, sign into Xbox, and join your friend's party chat. No responsibilities, and nothing but time.
Microsoft is working on a new feature for Windows 11 that will make apps open faster and everyday tasks feel much quicker.
The feature, called Low Latency Profile, gives the CPU a short burst of full power when you start an app or click on things like the Start menu, pop-up windows, or right-click menus.
These quick boosts will cut down on waiting time without using much extra battery or making the computer hotter.
This is part of a bigger Microsoft plan called “Windows K2” to fix common complaints about speed and smoothness in Windows 11.
The feature is still in early internal tests so it has not reached regular users yet and could change before release.
Most of people find Windows 11 slow and clunky so maybe microsoft finally will fix the OS

Why? It comes down to the "convenience loop."
AI handles the boilerplate, making strict typing an advantage, not a chore. Check out the data:
• TypeScript grew 66% YoY 🚀
• Shell scripting usage in AI-generated projects jumped 206% 👀
@__alula Programmers have been "copy-pasting" code from StackOverflow for decades, AI is just a faster way to do it.
The reason artists get upset while devs stay chill is that code is functional, but art is personal. As long as we aren't feeding it private data or critical security infra.
artists: noo!!! all generative AI is bad, commission a programmer next time
programmers: you're fine bro, we made LLMs for ourselves anyway, it's not maintainable by any means but it's functional 😎
