It's true. I had a rare stroke of the spinal cord on Sunday. I was initially paralysed but was rushed to The Royal Sussex and the staff have been amazing. Can walk again, a bit. My legs were jelly, man. It didnt feel fucking brilliant. Thank you for all the love and kindness. 🩵

Started The Wire from scratch again last night. Managed three episodes in one sitting I still say that pound for pound it’s the greatest drama series of all time, just edging out Breaking Bad and The Sopranos Any other suggestions for one of the top spots?

Also, Karren Brady has built a lucrative career (on The Apprentice and as a Baroness) by ignoring David Sullivan’s despicable & disgusting behavior towards women & girls...not simply by being a "strong woman," as she has claimed. She can run from West Ham, but she cannot hide.
Tom Latchem@TomLatchem

The truth about David Sullivan is beginning to come out. Any editors who want to commission me on why I was so relentless on my reporting on his involvement in a care home for girls, about the threats I faced down, and the many MPs who declined to help - drop me a DM.

Terrible, genuinely terrible. Got off to a good start, but once the honeymoon period was over his complete lack of coaching skills was exposed coupled with an exceptional ability to alienate key players and, later, an entire fan base. His level of entitlement was shocking, coupled with team talk instructions of ‘needing to look in the mirror’ which was advice he clearly felt beneath him. Toxic man - I only hope he’s a better man in private Some player in his day tho

Football reporters should never ever, ever, ever use the word ‘disaster’ in relation to giving a goal away. We’ve just marked the Hillsborough tragedy. Check your language. Do much better.

@talkSPORT Villa circled the drain for a few years - poor managerial appointments and an ownership with zero interest anymore making bad decisions Spurs recent fall has echoes but it’s so much quicker. Incompetent owners making bad decisions and poor manager appointments.

The only person who thinks restricting our ancient right to trial by jury is a good idea is David Lammy. This is the same man who thought Henry VII came after Henry VIII. The same man who claimed Marie Antoinette won the Nobel Prize for Physics — rather than Marie Curie. And the same man who said in 2020 that “criminal trials without juries are a bad idea”. Now Lammy is taking an axe to a cornerstone of our criminal justice system, spearheading the biggest assault on English liberty — particularly free speech — in over 800 years. We cannot let him get away with this. ✍️ Sign our petition to SAVE JURY TRIALS 👇

Pleasantly surprised by the reactions to this. This anon creep got this one wildly wrong.
Andrew Gold@AndrewGold_ok

I don’t usually reply because you’re a troll who doesn’t pursue truth. But this hit a nerve. I literally bumped into the guy at an event. First time I’ve met him. If he’d somehow financed me, the last thing I’d do is put up a photo. You know this. Or is it just rage bait? Well, you win. As to your rather woke point, this may not fit your narrative but I was on minimum wage for years while struggling and working many jobs. I made an award winning documentary exposing an exorcist for what he did to girls, off my own back, learning to edit in between my various jobs and learning foreign languages. It took years. I had no contacts (yes, most Jews have no TV contacts - mind blown?) so found a way to find email addresses from LinkedIn pages. I sent about 50 emails a day for years to producers, commissioners and film festivals. I was rejected 50x a day (well, mostly ignored). After years, my film - which is damned good - was taken by the BBC. They basically didn’t pay me. I made a loss. So I continued on minimum wage jobs. They did put me in touch with their production companies - who all said they’d take my ideas but refused point blank to allow me to continue being on screen because I’m a white man. After years of this, I started speaking about it. No one believed me. I started my podcast then. I got just 4 listens the first month. I worked like crazy round the clock while continuing my other work. My wife watched me run myself into the ground for 2 years on this - eventually my YouTube channel about cults made it to a point where I could earn enough to quit my other jobs. I’ve never known a feeling quite like it. Relief. I used the revenue and contacts I’d slowly gained from this to start my new channel Heretics just over two years ago. The overwhelming majority of Heretics has been about ending woke culture and I sincerely believe I made an impact - however tiny - in convincing some people to move away from it. I also desperately try to make viewers realise how damaging immigration is. Unlike what you and your followers might imagine, I do very few videos about Israel and antisemitism. I’ve been unflinchingly patriotic and Britain first in hundreds of videos - even as trolls lined up the comments to hurl the most unimaginably cruel insults at me and my family about being Jewish. Despite this, I have tried to never play victim on my channel, and have always criticised the orthodox Jewish community even when it made me deeply unpopular with some Jews. On the record: I have never received a single penny of investment. I have never been told who to interview. I have never paid for views or subscribers (I doubt this even works). In just over two years, I have nearly 1 million subs precisely because my subs see me as fair. One time, in an interview with a man who literally wants to do blood tests on the entire citizenship to ascertain who should be deported, I said that I consider myself white and that we white people will end up mixing with all the other races. I was probably wrong. I’ve been wrong many times on my channel and will be again. I knew it wouldn’t look good but I left it in the video to be fair. Yet it was cut out of context to not include the part where I said I included myself in the white people - and that I really didn’t want that to happen. Which is pretty key, given millions then saw clips suggesting I was a subversive Jew who wanted whites to no longer exist. That, I can take. I won’t be able to convince you otherwise. But I take pride in my work. Even though you’re anonymous, so should you. And I won’t have you lying about the work I put in. If you take yourself and your work at all seriously, you should apologise and admit you got this particular take wildly wrong. If not, your followers should consider whether you’re what you say you are.

The official definition of Islamophobia — now repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility” — will be used to suppress legitimate criticism of Islam and its practices. We are already seeing this play out. Less than a week after the Communities Secretary, Steve Reed, published the definition — assuring the public it would not stifle legitimate criticism of Islam — Nick Timothy is facing calls to resign after criticising mass ritual prayer by Muslims in Trafalgar Square. He has been accused of “anti-Muslim hostility” by a Labour MP and reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards. This is a Muslim blasphemy law by the back door. Today, the Free Speech Union has sent a pre-action letter to Steve Reed, threatening judicial review if the definition and guidance are not withdrawn immediately. This is one of the biggest fights we’ve taken on in our six-year history. Help us stop the Government’s de facto Muslim blasphemy law 👇

Imagine hiring a manager with no premier league experience when you’re in a relegation dogfight. How do these morons get to such high positions in these clubs. Unbelievable. The football is the worst I’ve watched ever, and that’s saying something after some of Ange’s games. #coys

1) I have kicked a ball in my life, I have mild cerebral palsy, I’m not wheelchair bound. 2) People seem to appreciate what I do with the podcasts and my writing over the years, if they didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to do it. 3) As Arrigo Sacchi once said: “I never realised that to be a jockey you had to be a horse first”.

@PeterMcCormack @Heccles94 What went wrong Peter? Why the crazy reaction to her and Kwarteng’s budget? Did she spook the markets, or too much against status quo? I recall the pension funds having kittens but I could never work this out. Hope all well

She would as she is schooled in Austrian Economics. If you understood even basic economics you would too, but you don’t. You live in the fantasy world of socialism which always fails everywhere. You don’t understand how value is created and capital is destroyed. You don’t understand what currency debasement is and why it’s destructive for the people you claim to want to help and is great for the wealthy. I recommend Hayek and Bastiat. Or stay stupid.
