@stuzi_pants Twin Peaks - Breaking Bad was actually pretty poor. The episode where the flight path guy causes crashes and the stupid teddy bear eye - puuurlease
English

@Footballtweet He’s had contact with the ball before the tackle, but this is studs up and an over the ball motion - not pretty. Var didn’t even touch it for some reason

@_onlyscott Diego Forlan, the prem never saw him at his best

@TomLatchem Don’t forget Philip Green - she tiptoed away from him when the accusations started to get traction

Also, Karren Brady has built a lucrative career (on The Apprentice and as a Baroness) by ignoring David Sullivan’s despicable & disgusting behavior towards women & girls...not simply by being a "strong woman," as she has claimed. She can run from West Ham, but she cannot hide.
Tom Latchem@TomLatchem
The truth about David Sullivan is beginning to come out. Any editors who want to commission me on why I was so relentless on my reporting on his involvement in a care home for girls, about the threats I faced down, and the many MPs who declined to help - drop me a DM.

Terrible, genuinely terrible.
Got off to a good start, but once the honeymoon period was over his complete lack of coaching skills was exposed coupled with an exceptional ability to alienate key players and, later, an entire fan base.
His level of entitlement was shocking, coupled with team talk instructions of ‘needing to look in the mirror’ which was advice he clearly felt beneath him.
Toxic man - I only hope he’s a better man in private
Some player in his day tho

Aston Villa lads on here, genuinely
How bad was he?

@AndrewGold_ok That is just wild! His brain must have whiplash

@markpougatch @ThatsSoBluesky Never tell people what they or can’t say - no matter distasteful - you don’t get to decide

@talkSPORT Villa circled the drain for a few years - poor managerial appointments and an ownership with zero interest anymore making bad decisions
Spurs recent fall has echoes but it’s so much quicker. Incompetent owners making bad decisions and poor manager appointments.

✍️SIGN OUR PETITION TO SAVE JURY TRIALS: forms.cloud.microsoft/pages/response…
English

The only person who thinks restricting our ancient right to trial by jury is a good idea is David Lammy.
This is the same man who thought Henry VII came after Henry VIII.
The same man who claimed Marie Antoinette won the Nobel Prize for Physics — rather than Marie Curie.
And the same man who said in 2020 that “criminal trials without juries are a bad idea”.
Now Lammy is taking an axe to a cornerstone of our criminal justice system, spearheading the biggest assault on English liberty — particularly free speech — in over 800 years.
We cannot let him get away with this.

The official definition of Islamophobia — now repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility” — will be used to suppress legitimate criticism of Islam and its practices. We are already seeing this play out.
Less than a week after the Communities Secretary, Steve Reed, published the definition — assuring the public it would not stifle legitimate criticism of Islam — Nick Timothy is facing calls to resign after criticising mass ritual prayer by Muslims in Trafalgar Square.
He has been accused of “anti-Muslim hostility” by a Labour MP and reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards.
This is a Muslim blasphemy law by the back door.
Today, the Free Speech Union has sent a pre-action letter to Steve Reed, threatening judicial review if the definition and guidance are not withdrawn immediately.
This is one of the biggest fights we’ve taken on in our six-year history. Help us stop the Government’s de facto Muslim blasphemy law 👇

@JPAngel18 @AVFCOfficial Christmas 2001, got a tiny photo frame from the cracker and put a JPA photo in it - joyous times 🩵🩷

Amazing the love, support and unity from the @AVFCOfficial fans the other day, now let’s keep it going! #AVFC fans help me get to 2k followers!! Comment and follow all villa fans that comment below, follow me and I’ll follow you all back if you like and comment on this post!

@EssexPR Reminds me of Villa’s relegation year - poorly run, players struggling without clear management with short term hires. Cant buy a win
English

Imagine hiring a manager with no premier league experience when you’re in a relegation dogfight.
How do these morons get to such high positions in these clubs.
Unbelievable.
The football is the worst I’ve watched ever, and that’s saying something after some of Ange’s games.

I’m sorry you can’t convince me these two images are mirrors of each other.
Joao Pedro’s foot is clearly ahead of Tyrone Mings’ foot in the second photo.
It’s an absolute joke.

1) I have kicked a ball in my life, I have mild cerebral palsy, I’m not wheelchair bound.
2) People seem to appreciate what I do with the podcasts and my writing over the years, if they didn’t, I wouldn’t be able to do it.
3) As Arrigo Sacchi once said: “I never realised that to be a jockey you had to be a horse first”.
Bhbbb@trfc1234
@HLTCO How do you genuinely get to talk about football when you’ve never kicked a ball in your life?
English

@PeterMcCormack @Heccles94 What went wrong Peter? Why the crazy reaction to her and Kwarteng’s budget?
Did she spook the markets, or too much against status quo? I recall the pension funds having kittens but I could never work this out.
Hope all well
English

She would as she is schooled in Austrian Economics.
If you understood even basic economics you would too, but you don’t. You live in the fantasy world of socialism which always fails everywhere.
You don’t understand how value is created and capital is destroyed.
You don’t understand what currency debasement is and why it’s destructive for the people you claim to want to help and is great for the wealthy.
I recommend Hayek and Bastiat.
Or stay stupid.
