@RockyPsionics A good chunk is equity in my home yes. I've bought 3 properties in this time (sold 2). I've worked hard to pay down the mortgage and borrowed sensible amounts over shorter duration than normal and added equity during each move.

@ItsJamesHall A chunk of that is likely property appreciation which can quickly turn south as can be seen in the SE of England

@Sausageland It's a risk for sure. You'd like to think they would go up over time, but never guaranteed.

@ItsJamesHall Depends as not all stocks go up in value. I was gifted RSUs when I started a job, they fell in value once they had reached the vesting dates.

UK Share Incentive Plan (SIP) participants saved £370 million in tax/NIC last year. The other 71% left free shares & employer matching on the table. If your employer is offering a SIP, it's a no-brainer for building wealth. Agree or disagree?

10,000 Brits have become ISA millionaires. But only 26% of UK adults even have a Stocks & Shares ISA. Anyone serious about building wealth should be investing in a S&S ISA. Agree or disagree?

5 questions to ask yourself before any big purchase: 1. Do I need this or is it a temporary want? 2. Does this align with my goals and values? 3. What else could this money be doing for me? 4. Will I still be happy with this purchase in 30 days? 5. Can I afford this without affecting my emergency fund? Save this post. Next time you buy something, answer all 5 and see how much you really want it.

The Bank of England has confirmed today they will hold the UK base rate at 3.75%. What does this mean for Brits? ✅ Low fixed mortgage: good 😐 Variable mortgage: rate stays the same 😐 Cash ISA/savings: interest rate stays similar ❌ New borrowing: not getting cheaper ❌ Big variable mortgage: bad (higher costs persist) ❌ New home buyer: bad (affordability tough) Stability for now. But not much help for those wanting to borrow. If your mortgage is coming up for renewal, would you go fixed or variable? 👇

The Monetary Policy Committee voted 7-2 to keep the interest rate at 3.75%. Find out more: bankofengland.co.uk/monetary-polic…

Building wealth isn't always about income. Its about spending less than you earn, avoiding high-interest debt on liabilities, investing consistently. Wealth can be built at any income level. It might be boring, but it works.

Audit: 15. Set up a monthly tracker on spending, investing and net worth to stay on track 16. Try and grow net worth by at least 1% every month (you’ll be amazed at how quick it grows)
