@jarredsumner @simonklee I have nothing against the rewrite, but just when I thought that Bun was going to get solid enough to replace Node on HTTP servers... this rewrite will probably slow down adoption.
Did you consider the approach typescript was doing with tsgo ?

Most of the feedback from OpenCode users to Bun has been crash reports. Many of these crash reports would not have happened with a borrow checker and lifetimes and automatic cleanup Rust provides.
Please file issues if you run into any and we will fix.

Say what you want, but for people building products on Bun, this is bad news for the foreseeable future.

@cursor_ai did it again. Changing price model without proper communication.
You are forced to use "Auto" + Composer, or pay extra if you exceed the limits. Using same models as weeks ago, now it burns quota 4x - 5x faster. I used 40% after implementing 3 features!!

hey @cursor_ai in your last version of the IDE, the Agent started coding while in Plan mode after it got prompts from the queue. I was in Plan mode all the time.

I want a component model that feels native to the web. But I also want to take the best of React.
Web components and React have always been at odds. The rendering model. The development and deploy story.
Reacts lifecycle used to mirror the DOM. It’s much more obscured behind hooks. But it’s still there.
How can we bring it front and center again? How can we make something that feels web native that we can also server render without jumping through hoops?
