PTI Leadership, NOW is the time when Imran Khan Needs You! The impact of hundreds of elected members (Senators, MNAs and MPAs) of KP and Punjab assemblies at Adiala will be huge. It WILL create the necessary pressure on this Govt (who is in power by stealing Imran Khan’s mandate) to get Imran Khan treated at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad. It is an urgent and necessary pressure for Dogar court to take up Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s bail applications and set them FREE. Police usually arrests Imran Khan’s supporters; not the family or elected members. We appeal to Imran Khan’s supporters (who are not office holders) NOT to come to Adiala today.

Our family has appealed to all party office holders, senior leadership, MNAs, MPAs, and Senators to come to Adiala Jail this Tuesday to build pressure on the government to: 1. Allow immediate access for Imran Khan’s lawyers and family. 2. Transfer Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital for proper medical examination and treatment, in the presence of specialists, his personal doctor, and family. 3. Ensure Chief Justice Dogar takes up the bail applications of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi so they can be released from this illegal imprisonment without delay. Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are being held in solitary confinement, one of the harshest forms of treatment in violation of Pakistani law and international human rights standards.

My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public promise that they could safely travel there to see their father after 4 years, made by both Defence Minister @khawajaMAsif to @mehdirhasan & PM spokesperson @mosharrafzaidi to @SkyYaldaHakim Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt. This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.

I am focused on making sure that every New Yorker is safe. I have been in contact with our Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution. Additionally, I want to speak directly to Iranian New Yorkers: you are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders. You will be safe here.
