@JapanIntercult As a SHS teacher in Osaka, based on my experience, there hasn’t been any forbidding to students dating. At most, schools may separate them when making homeroom classes the following year to avoid any potential issues with the class atmosphere

Three thoughts: 1. Was the male student she was dating forced to leave school too? 2. Is it common for high schools in Japan to forbid dating? 3. If you have a shrinking population, maybe let teens learn how to have relationships?

A Japanese court on Wednesday awarded ¥970,000 ($7,000) in damages to a woman who left a Tokyo high school after being admonished for violating a school rule that banned dating. #Echobox=1669801853" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">japantimes.co.jp/news/2022/11/3…

@kansaibeyond If it helps (& it’s the prefectural job that I think it is), it sounds like other reapplying veterans I know also have no idea on what the interview is asking either- just prep some general activity/teaching ideas based on the passage they sent? Good luck! 😊

I just received an email from a Prefectural BOE job interview (later this month, not tomorrow) just now and this is my first time I've ever had someone basically go "here are some SUPER vague instructions about the interview, don't email us with questions - we ain't answering"

SoftBank's Masayoshi Son: "In the United States, they put Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, in charge of fighting the coronavirus. Why has Japan put our Minister for Economic Revitalization in charge?" (MP) #Covid19 #Japan
