We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back). We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.

immediately noticing a Rather Cursed Behaviour on the Studio Display XDR and I want to know if this is a normal/expected thing with mini-LEDs/this monitor or Bad And Broken
I don’t really care much about blooming but you can notice that the mouse pointer gets dimmer when it’s in a dimmed area compared to when it’s closer to lit areas because the backlight control algorithm seems to prioritise reducing blooming over preserving brightness, so it doesn’t light the area where the mouse pointer is enough
does anyone else with a Studio Display XDR, another mini-LED monitor, or a Mac with a mini-LED panel experience this? easy test is to simply use X in dark mode
