Our deep freezer full of meat and food just went out. We bought it in 2021. I have friends coming to take whatever they can before it is all wasted. Called the 1800 number and a barely-understandable representative very politely told me we are out of warranty and there are no technicians who can fix it. My parents had the same deep freezer for 40 years. In the last 5 years we’ve replaced our <5 year old washing machine, two vacuums, garbage disposal… Our dishwasher probably needs replacing soon. I’m just so tired of this. I WANT to “buy once cry once” as I was raised—to invest in well made things built to last. Where the actual hell are they?

There are no aliens. Even if there were (and there aren't) they would have no way of getting here. The distances are simply too vast. Far, far too vast. The nearest star outside of our own sun is 4.2 light-years away. No aliens, no matter how clever, will ever be able to travel anywhere near the speed of light. The laws of physics prevent it. To accelerate any mass at all (even a pebble) to anything approaching even 1/3rd the speed of light would take incomprehensibly vast amounts of energy. You need a lot of spaceship (and I mean YUGE) to hold that much energy. So, now you've got a heck of a lot more than a pebble to move. Your energy problem just got infinitely worse. It's impossible folks. ET ain't out there, and even if he was, he ain't dropping by for a visit.

I've seen every episode and tbh besides the scene when the blonde dude solos the pirates, and that bigass dragon battle, I can't remember shit. Plus, I honestly do not care about any of the characters there. It's just... flat and forgetable, idk. It's not bad bad, but I wouldn't watch it again.
