When you don't have to worry about paying bills, you have time to think. That makes you extremely dangerous. The system is designed for us to never reach that level. If you're always in survival mode, you'll never have the time or the energy to maximize your full potential.

From David Todd McCarty: I will say this about Mastodon. More than any other platform, I see ordinary people (not famous) posting original content. Their own thoughts, writing, stories, and art. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than anything else. Like democracy.

“Expunging impeachments” is not a thing. This is the equivalent of them passing the “We love Donald Trump even though he’s a racist criminal traitor Act.” It’s an empty gesture that holds no constitutional or legal weight, but merely has symbolic value. His impeachments remain.

@SWhereoutwest @peaceliberty They have done some good, but the "not Just the 1%" is key there. The 1% doesn't need anyone to stand for them. They own everything that isn't nailed down or on fire!
