He literally said he wouldn't mind riding the bench, so it's worse than we thought. He is willing to get carried to this title just to have his name associated with it and hoping his fanbase and media will do the rest of the work for his legacy and image.

This is the fundamental difference between Ronaldo and Messi. If Messi ever fell to this level, he would do the right thing for his country and step aside. He has always put Argentina first. Ronaldo, on the other hand, would rather risk harming his national team just to prove he can still play

If you can't explain why CR7 is great without bringing up a single stat then he 1000000% without a shadow of a doubt isn't top 30 ever. This is irrefutable.

CR7's legacy is comparing himself to Messi's 5th best attribute as a player (shooting) and he's not even better than him at that. You have to literally say "passing, dribbles, and any title that isn't a UCL do NOT matter" in order for him to be close to Messi. It's ridiculous.

Literally so what? So did Raul and no one cared. No one had Raul as a top 5 footballer ever because he was the UCL all time scorer You can't just perform at an average level while winning titles then be considered better than players who overperform and win titles. Common sense.
