@drewlevin fastest way to find issues is to give players something to complain about 😂

Not really accurate but abiogenesis isn’t confirmed, it does have substantial supporting evidence tho and experiments like the Miller Urey experiment showed amino acids can form under early Earth conditions, and we have since found nucleotides, lipids, and other biomolecule precursors that can rise through natural processes
English

@itzjustziya @Steezehuman If you are applying scientific standards, you should readily admit that abiogenesis has yet to have any evidence confirming it is the likely answer to our origins.
Despite 130 yrs and 10k+ studies we haven't a source for even basic useable biomolecules.

@WistfulHunger Silver players are trying to improve, meanwhile smurfs are out here ego farming beginners 💀

masters player trolling and flaming in silver is insane lmfao get a life
Drew Levin@drewlevin
@goodvibesNA hey there! i looked into this and found a few things: 1. the game tagged as the reason for the ban was misapplied. our bad. 2. you were one of the most reported players in the entire game on april 13. 3. you're a masters player who trolls and flames in silver. cmon man.

Supports farming for their ADC is actually kind of fine in controlled cases, it already happens when ADCs are pressured or recalling. The issue isn’t who last hits, it’s who benefits. If gold still routes correctly, that behavior becomes neutral or even slightly positive instead of grief and less frustrating for ADCs
English

This League of Legends system rewards you for hurting your own teammates ❓😲
Removing support penalty opens a grief pattern:
- Troll support picks useless in lane = feed = put ADC behind
- Steal farms mid game trying to make up for it = put laners behind
- Doesn't spend time fighting for vision & make plays with team = put entire team behind
Just had a game with support Ashe full crit:
IGN is TrollPick OTP#INTER
inted lane 0/5/2
spent most of game time AFK farming
vision score is inflated because of Ashe E, but doesn't fight for vision so map is always pitch black
Damage matched enchanter Janna despite 4 times CSPM and building full damage: ~8,800 damage.
This isn’t about one player.
This is what happens when the system baits a role into not doing their jobs, giving them incentives to intentionally put their teammates behind.
If this pattern becomes common, game quality drops hard.
@RiotPhroxzon @RiotSupport @drewlevin curious what are you thoughts on this?

I have an idea, and a solution that would change how lane gold attribution works when a support item is detected, and the support is within a defined proximity to an allied laner (typically the ADC in bot lane), full minion gold should be automatically redirected to the primary carry regardless of who lands the last hit. This preserves lane economy integrity even if the support intentionally tries to take CS, while still allowing supports to function normally in edge cases like covering waves when the ADC is dead or roaming.
Also to prevent abuse or unintended side effects, this system could be context aware, which activates only during early and mid lane phases, checks for proximity and role assignment, and disables when the support is alone in lane or after the lane phase ends. You could also combine this with soft penalties or diminishing gold returns if a support repeatedly attempts to farm or push alone instead of staying with the team, reinforcing intended role behavior.

Pyke support is often misunderstood. While the champion can look simple in highlight clips, he actually has very little margin for error. Pyke is heavily dependent on tempo and snowballing advantages, while Bard or Thresh can still provide consistent utility regardless of game state.
I think people see highlight plays in Instagram reels or TikTok and think Pyke is easy 💀

@Dragdar_ My new permaban is Ezreal since Ezreal is the most picked in Masters+

@RiotPhroxzon This is a huge step in the right direction, and ending games early when players show disruptive behavior. This will save players a ton of time and frustration

Super excited for some of the features coming out in 25.9.
In-Game Termination for Disruptive Behavior
- Cutting games short where significantly egregious behaviors are detected that drops a team's winrate to dramatically low levels has been something that we've been wanting to add to League for a while
- This has been a significant technological advancement to be able to do this, so we're really excited about further things this can unlock
- To set expectations, we're not going to be catching all varieties of game ruining behavior out of the gate, but it represents a significant improvement in our ability to actually detect these and prevent further harm to players
- Initially, this will function very similarly to if an AFK is detected
- We plan to continue rolling this out to more and more behaviors over time
Gameplay Changes
- Adjusting rules for roaming/proxying for Role Quests to be more generous and forgiving
- Adding 2 new starting items! We haven't added starting items for a while!
- A variety of patchwork sized champion fantasy improvements
- 2 beloved keystones returning to the game (Stormraider's Surge, Deathfire)
- A variety of item tuning changes (look out for the Statikk Shiv changes!)
WASD & Champion Specific Keybinds
- Both control schemes will be receiving Champ Specific Keybinds which are super exciting and a long requested piece of functionality
- Coming to SR Ranked is WASD
- This has been a massive step forward from the team
- We're confident that we have the balance levers in place to effectively balance the 2 control schemes, but really want to see how it plays out on Live as players get more familiar with WASD
Really excited to see what y'all think about all the changes!
