To my followers who are great at budgeting, whats the secret? Meaning how do you stop yourself from impulse spending? I'm specifically talking to those that could blow a bag if they want (& it wouldn't hurt their bank account one bit) but just don't. I'm struggling!

The most effective way to save isn't willpower, it's friction. Open a secondary savings account with no debit card attached and automate transfers on payday. By making your money harder to access, you stop impulse spending. What is your go-to savings rule?

At the end of every month, a friend would ask the same question "Where did all my money go?" The truth was, nothing expensive happened. It was the daily little expenses she never planned for, food deliveries, impulse purchases, subscriptions, and "just this once" spending. A budget doesn't stop you from enjoying your money, it only shows your money where to go before it quietly disappears.
