Look at the location. Look at how beautifully nature has created this place. And look at how we are treating it. The problem is us.

A dangerous stunt performed for a social media reel has triggered public outrage in Goregaon West after a car dealer allegedly set a public road on fire to celebrate his birthday. The incident took place on the MMRDA road outside Sunteck City, 4th Avenue, in the Somani Gram area near Ram Mandir Road. According to reports, the accused, a car dealer from Jogeshwari West, poured petrol on the road and ignited it, creating a trail of fire as part of the stunt. The blaze reportedly damaged the road surface at four locations. Several vehicles parked nearby narrowly escaped catching fire, preventing what could have escalated into a major accident. Local residents have expressed serious concerns over public safety and condemned the reckless act. Authorities are expected to take action against those involved. Further details regarding police action are awaited.

@theskindoctor13 Disagree with you on this. All the problems you mentioned are there, sure. But, they will all be resolved over the course of next few decades eventually. That process can be accelerated with what Sridhar ji is pitching for.

No need to come back. Indians must understand the difference between Bharat, the oldest unbroken dharmic civilization since the Bronze Age, and India, a modern nation-state governed by a democratic system since 1947. Your love and gratitude for Bharat should not be weaponized as a guilt trip to pull you back to India, where merit is devalued, corruption is normalized, adulteration is rampant, civic sense is poor, pollution is pervasive, babushahi stifles efficiency, appeasement and freebies shape policy, and mobs dictate terms to democratically elected governments. Bharat stays with you. Wherever you go, the civilization goes with you. If you want to preserve and carry forward that civilization, practice dharmic righteousness wherever you are and uphold its values through your conduct, work, and integrity. You don't have to be in India for it.

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal. Respectfully Sridhar Vembu

US just dropped a bomb on lakhs of Indian dreams. A new bill has been proposed. In this bill, Republicans are suggesting a pause on H1B visas for 3 years. They also want to reduce the number of visas from 65,000 to 25,000 and remove benefits like bringing family, doing OPT, and even the chance to get a green card. They are also planning to stop companies from hiring through third parties. One major change in the bill is increasing the minimum salary to $200,000. This means a company can only hire a foreign worker if they are ready to pay at least this amount every year. Right now, many H1B workers earn much less than that. If this rule is applied, only very high paying and senior level jobs will qualify. Freshers and mid level workers will find it very difficult to get these visas because companies usually do not offer such high salaries to them. So this is not just about visas. It could make it much harder for many Indian IT workers to go to the US. India needs to take this seriously. Our engineers should not have to depend on luck or a lottery system to build their careers. We should focus more on creating strong opportunities in India so people can grow here. Because if one day the US completely shuts that door, we should already have our own doors open.

@theskindoctor13 The traditional institutions of education have their days numbered. Soon they will become just socializing places and less of education centers. Looking at this - I won't feel too bad if it does happen.

People avoid govt schools despite paying taxes and an education cess, because the system has failed to earn their trust. Private schools exploit this compulsion. With no real alternatives, parents are squeezed and intimidated. Here, a principal from a reputed private school in Hardoi is berating parents for buying books from a cheaper shop instead of the school’s designated vendor. The insulting tone, “shut up,” “naam kaat do”, says it all. Almost everyone with power in India abuses it to bully those without it.

On Apr 1, Vimal Prajapati brought dosa batter from a nearby dairy. His wife Bhavna cooked it, and they, along with their daughters Raha (3 months) and Mishri (4 years), ate it. Soon after, all four fell ill and were hospitalized. The daughters died; the parents survived. Police acted swiftly, registered a case, and took dairy samples. The dairy owner claimed innocence, saying hundreds buy batter daily, how could only one family be affected? That raised a logical point. Another issue that bothered the police was: who feeds dosa to a 3-month-old child? At that age, the child should be fed only breast milk. So police probed keeping all angles in mind. Investigation revealed that Bhavna maintained a diary in which she had written about her deep desire to have a son and had vowed to visit a temple if her wish was fulfilled. Next, toxicology reports found aluminium phosphide in the blood of victims. Police then found that Vimal had bought 10 packets of Sulphas (Celphos), a fumigant containing aluminium phosphide. He had used eight to preserve wheat but could not account for the remaining two packets. So, the probe so far suggests the likelihood of parent(s) poisoning their daughters and consuming a smaller quantity themselves so that they would survive, in a desire to have a son. If true, how heartless do you have to be to kill your own children like this?

@aquibmir71 It may take a few generations for civic sense to truly become culture. Until then, shouting “on track to be the 3rd largest economy” rings hollow when people can’t even walk on the roads they’re entitled to.

This is beyond reckless. Spreading petrol all around a bike like this? One small spark and he won’t just burn alive he could set the entire petrol pump on fire. And the bigger question ,l how are the staff even allowing this? This isn’t ignorance, it’s pure negligence.

This is NOT funny. This is criminal. A kid sitting in the backseat of this car (DL2CBF0212) was throwing water balloons at bike riders on a flyover. One rider was seconds away from a fatal fall… this could have been a death, not a “prank”. Even more shocking, the woman in the co-passenger seat is seen laughing. This is reckless endangerment. Strict action must be taken before someone actually loses their life. Date: 27 March Time: 2:38 PM Location: Not known, so don’t ask. Source: Instagram @/sachinmvlogs2510 @dtptraffic @DelhiPolice, will you act only after a tragedy happens? Identify them. Take action.

May 2023. A Govt officer in Chhattisgarh dropped his ₹96,000 smartphone into a dam. What followed sounded less like administration and more like a cruel joke on the public. Instead of accepting the loss, nearly 21 lakh litres of water were allegedly pumped out of the dam to recover that one phone. Not for farmers. Not for irrigation. Not for any public emergency. For a SMARTPHONE. Rajesh Vishwas, a food inspector, said that he got the water pumped out from the reservoir after obtaining a verbal permission from the Sub Divisional Officer of the Water Resource Department For around three days, water meant for fields was drained away while officials searched for a personal device. Reports said the dam’s water level fell from about 15 feet to nearly 5 feet. Think about that. A ₹96,000 smartphone was treated as more valuable than 21 lakh litres of water. 🙏🤷‍♂️

@Khurpenchinfra It's a planning and corruption issue. We build societies first and then figure out how to reach there later. How has governments not been able to focus on that - how is that tapri open right on the footpath? It's unbelievable. Then everything gets blamed on population.

Most road crashes in India happen because of basic negligence no mirror checks, tailgating, poor lane discipline. Safety shouldn’t depend on luck. Strong enforcement + proper education must make safe driving the default until it becomes habit. x.com/motordave2/sta…
