Why should any of them be provided state vehicles lol. For a country that supposedly has a net zero carbon aim, why? Most of these people already have vehicles anyway and have the money to spend on taxis and public transport and fuel.

Petition to have the Transport Minister subjected to how ordinary citizens travel. Take the bus. Hail a taxi. Walk places. They need to understand how poor the roads are, how challenging hailing a cab is, and internalize what needs done @MMuizzu Transport Ministers should be exempt from being provided state owned vehicles. Nahula in previous administration and Ameen in this administration— both too elitist to understand the real issues & therefore, be passionate about the cause. Some of my best childhood memories were made in these green spaces of Vilimalé. Watching them be destroyed is hard to see, knowing future generations in Malé will never get to experience them, when life is already so cramped people feel confined within four walls.
