126 holes in 3 & 1/2 days, 90 of them qualifying. Year 5 of team retreat at the RTJ Shoals in Alabama is in the books. We head home this morning to get this ‘26 season underway. So many memories made on & off the golf course, blessed to be able to take such trips with our guys.

The growth of the middles as they continue to grow in their understanding of how to make their way around at the golf course was fun to witness. They go to the range while dad works with Charlie on chipping. Plus, #3 with a cool discovery along the way….

Golf team retreat in Alabama this year. It’s an amazing trip for our program, but these mornings at the golf course are my favorite! All four of them blessed w/pretty good hand eye! Fun to see them gaining interest in the game.

Today coaching my 3rd grade team, my bench & I were repeatedly taunted by the 9 yr olds banging 3’s on us. Dang it, we need to guard better I guess🤦🏼♂️. Somewhere in all the non sense my boys are learning some life lessons. At least that’s what I keep telling myself!

Already beat down coaching youth sports. My 4h grade team has been pressed 84 ft, make or miss, for 28 min, by Carmel & every HCC team we’ve seen. It seems to be a GREAT recipe for winning 4th grade games. Hoping next year we are💪 enough to pass it down the floor!
