@wmata I have loved the with the metro since I was little. I would begged my dad to beat the train when we would drive down I-66. Now as a public health professional working in DC, it an important cornerstone in my life! Love the positive growth our system has seen in the lasy years!

Who else does that neurodivergent plan of “I’m gonna catch up on and fix my whole life this weekend,” but then the weekend comes and you’re like, “I deserve a break from being in work mode Monday to Friday,” and you keep repeating the same thing every damn week.

I love people with ADHD because they never actually forget anything. You just have to say the right words to activate them like a sleeper cell and then they awaken with all of the knowledge on a very niche subject they studied for 3 months straight 6 years ago.

@BarredinDC Traffic is officially back to post pandemic levels and people know the fastest way to get around is Metro…let alone more affordable, safer, etc.

Been commuting downtown a bunch lately on Red Line - trains are so packed. Huge contrast to the luxury of half empty trains on the-I-don’t-even-check-when-train-is-coming of being on Blue/Silver/Orange lines on southern side of Cap Hill.

@MandySlutsker Personally, I'd role the dice and keep the original flight... very early in storm at that point... shouldn't be too much (if any) snow yet. Adding a connection could complicate things. Jason, CWG

Hey @capitalweather - we are in Grand Cayman and have a nonstop flight to Dulles set to land Saturday at 8:40pm. Should we stick with it or try to find a flight that gets us in at 6:30pm but has a layover in ATL?

HERE WE GO Washington D.C. gang! SNOWSTORM COMING! Saturday, especially Saturday night, through Sunday. I have D.C. proper in the 4-8", but on the fringe of 8-12". I think we see about 8 inches in D.C. before a changeover to sleet. Farther south, maybe freezing rain.

Me verifying it was a Maryland plate after I get cut off by a driver who swerved over two lanes to make an exit.

My algorithm has me deep into meteorology twitter right now and let me tell ya things are getting CONTENTIOUS over these snow storm forecasts in the south
