Flew to San Francisco 5months ago from The Bahamas on December 31st and spent my New Year's eve sleeping in the airport and arrived in San Francisco on January 1st. Coming from poverty in The Bahamas with no running water or electricity, San Francisco was really different opened my eyes, and I met a lot really cool people. There's not that much tech in The Bahamas. Dropping out of high school to follow my dream to build awesome projects and get out of my bubble in The Bahamas. I snuck into a few Berkeley classes with my roommates who go to ucb went to tech events in the Bay Area network with also somehow snuck into a Zfellows event and met @adamguild and @cory. Started working on a VR suit that allows you to feel touch and pain. Now I want to share my story on Twitter and build this really awesome project.

Chinese humanoid patrols streets! 🚔 In Shenzhen, humanoid robots have officially stepped into public space. Last week, police patrols at the Window of the World tourist area were joined by a humanoid robot called T800, developed by EngineAI. The robot walked alongside armed officers during routine patrols. It was a busy tourist area, and people largely treated it as just another part of the patrol. The T800 is a full-size humanoid designed for physical presence. Its role today appears observational, but its deployment signals that humanoid robots are starting to appear in real civic contexts, not just factories or research labs. Shenzhen has long been a proving ground for new technology, and this fits the pattern.
