By the way I was very curious and thinking about it, but why did Ren never said anything about being sexually assaulted by Zeal after she decided to "stood up" for herself? The only thing she's been saying is that she's disgusted by him that he wanted to be friends with benefits.

This screenshot. I've thought about it for a few minutes, and honestly? There is nothing strange in it. Zeal did NOT admit in assaulting. If we consider the fact at that time they had crushes on each other - Zeal just got a little too overexcited and Ren told him to ask next time

@AbyssticMyst ah, im so sorry for taking a while, i didnt notice! here it is. It came up when i was talking to a friend of rens about some things. removing things and reconstructing things to make ren look worse isnt a great look to me and makes me quite suspicious

I don't recall this? I thought this was included in her document, as she wanted comfort from him. A kiss, however, does not mean she consented to what he did to her.

@ZetsumetsuZiro To target Rens internal statements when making a counterargument would be bad practice/a bad idea because those statements are subjective and not directly verifiable, so denying them doesn’t actually prove anything and will just comes across as dismissive/invalidating.

@ZetsumetsuZiro Figure I might as well just explain. Zeal doesn't mention it because those messages are linked to an internal claim made by Ren, not an external attack on zeal's character/intentions which he does respond to. Zeals doc is meant to counter claim Rens attacks on him.

@tarell00 @IckyVickyRblx Zeal believes in non verbal consent. Many relationships utilize non verbal consent in their fully consensual sexual relations. Furthermore a good chunk of consensual first times are non verbal. Non verbal consent isnt something that does not exist

After reading Ren’s and Zeal’s documents, it is now clear that Ren falsely portrayed Zeal as manipulative because she felt rejected, since he didn’t want to be in a committed relationship with her. Here is my analysis of Zeal’s doc which proves my point.

i understand wanting to be neutral, but when someone comes forward about being sexually assaulted, staying neutral ends up helping the abuser more than the person that got assaulted. it makes it 10x harder for victims to be taken seriously, especially when zeal admits to it.

@yesokmori He "cuts it out" because that second message is linked to an internal statement from ren, not an external claim on zeal. Zeal challenges the claims made against him, to try to challenge her personal feelings that she claims to have is unreliable. Note the use of "He" and "I"

i find it concerning how this conversation between ren and zeal was brushed over, where ren literally has to explain the concept of consent to zeal. "you need to ask me "can I?"" "you ripped everything off and did things without asking"

@yesokmori @Ahhly_97 Its because of this. Zeals documents purpose is to directly counter Rens claims about himself, he cannot reliably go after the personal feelings she claims to have in her doc. you can always go back to rens doc if needed
