I watched the @WMPolice Chief Constable's evidence to @CommonsHomeAffs again. As far as I can see, we are being asked to believe that Dutch Police lied: - in their report on the Ajax-Maccabi game a year ago - to the Dutch public - to the Dutch media - to their own inspectorate - to the Sunday Times And, as a result of those lies, senior Dutch politicians and the King of the Netherlands said things that were not true as well. But don't worry, because the Dutch Police then told the truth, just once, in a secret and unrecorded Zoom meeting with West Midlands Police of which no minute was taken. Forgive my cynicism, but how plausible do you think that is?

Last week Jewish, Israeli fans were banned from Villa Park. At the ground, Islamist thugs called me a dog, told me to “fuck off”, and demanded the police take me away. As the video below shows, the police took their side. My letter to the chief constable:

📣 Solidarity Rally Location "It is a troubling line that has been crossed, when extremist activists are so easily able to manipulate our civic institutions in order to pursue their agenda of division." On Thursday, November 6th, Our Fight will be holding a rally opposite Doug Ellis Stand at Villa Park as a gesture of solidarity with the @MaccabiTLVFC team, and with the fans that have been excluded from the game. Keeping Maccabi fans away from the match is a damning indictment of the current state of Britain's politics. We have seen the agenda of extremists play out on our national stage, and in response, our institutions and politicians have jointly pursued a policy of appeasement. Whilst we cannot reverse these decisions, we aim to at least show to the rest of the world that those who have capitulated do not represent ordinary football fans, and nor do they represent the people of Birmingham, or indeed the UK. Our Fight has been coordinating with @WMPolice to ensure a safe and united rally, and have agreed the following arrangements: 6pm: Assemble at Nobel Way/Holdford Road, B6 7EP, opposite Witton railway station. (Cars and coaches can be parked here.) 6.30pm: Police escort for the short walk to the away end of Villa Park stadium (Doug Ellis Stand). 6.45pm: Solidarity rally with speakers, including @joshxhowie. 7.30pm: Finish to allow time for Villa fans who have joined us, to make their way to their seats. The police will be present at all times and will provide an escort for those who attend, between all locations. Mark Birbeck, founder of Our Fight, said: "It is a shocking and troubling line that has been crossed, when extremist activists have been able to so easily manipulate our civic institutions in order to pursue their agenda of division. We would like as many people as possible to join us for a peaceful, solidarity rally, and show the world that these politicians are marginal — they do not represent Villa, they do not represent Birmingham, and they certainly do not represent the UK. We thank West Midlands Police and @AVFCOfficial for facilitating our rally close to Villa Park."
