There's a high likelihood of a railroad workers strike. News is covering a "deal" which may avert the strike, but they have left the terms of the deal vague. What they omit is that, where the workers' major demand is paid sick leave, the deal offers three *unpaid* days

The rumor going around among rail workers is that the latest deal improvements are: — Three *unpaid* sick days — Capping healthcare premiums at $400 month (but possible future pay deductions to pay for this) — $1k added to the base pay rate

🧵: Today, the NLRB issued a decision in Tesla, Inc., in which the Board held that employer attempts to restrict the wearing of union insignia, including clothing and buttons, are presumptively unlawful, absent special circumstances.

BREAKING: The NLRB has ruled that Tesla violated the law by restricting its workers from wearing pro-union apparel.
Going forward, attempts by employers to "impose any restriction on the display of union insignia" will be presumed illegal.
