🗞 THE STAR: Network School: Paperwork was in order, licensing falls under Johor govt and Home Ministry, says Gobind 🔴 Matters involving the business licence and premises operations of the Network School in Forest City fall under the jurisdiction of the Johor government while issues related to foreign workers, visas and immigration are under the Home Ministry, says Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo. Gobind clarified that the school had been established in Johor since 2024 and had been operating with the full knowledge of the state government. All applications related to its operation were submitted in accordance with the required procedures. "We in the Digital Ministry have conducted checks and found that all the applications are in order. The Immigration Department has also carried out further checks recently and confirmed that all the applications complied with the required procedures." Gobind said if any breach of the law or licensing was found, it should be investigated and appropriate action taken. "If there are complaints, investigate them. I am firm on this.
