Roman Catholics: “The apocrypha is Scripture!” The Apocrypha: “In the twelfth year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, who ruled over the Assyrians in the great city of Nineveh…” Nope. Not Scripture.

@BeardedBrownMa1 @BasilTheGreat If the state had that level of dirt on him, it would be taught in schools. Powell was an outsider and loathed by the establishment for being a gadfly. Also the CofE has been flooded with historic abuse scandals. It was why Welby had to step down. Distraction ploy is obvious.

@V122982841858 @flowerpotweller ‘Popes weren’t warlords because English kings were’ wot? AC ‘96 says validly ordained bishops couldn’t ordain others even though they 100% intended to because they used the wrong words. That reduces apostolic succession to magic and correct incantations.

@j26126 @flowerpotweller So your attempts at attacking Popes for being “warlords” or other vices is disingenuous - there are terrible examples of heads of the Anglican Church. You dislike the Apostolicae curae, so that makes it invalid?

@nonregemesse England is just shy of 1100 years old. There have been English communities and English settlement in parts of Wales for longer than 95% of countries have even existed. And not just before de jure unification. Before Scotland even controlled Caithness. Older by Euro standards.

@V122982841858 @flowerpotweller Most certainly. I could never be part of a Church that thinks they can ever be incapable of error. Apostolicae curae helped convince me. It is incorrect and bad theology, but an infallible ruling (If it doesn’t count, nothing does). Therefore, the Roman system falls.

@V122982841858 @flowerpotweller Why the scare quotes? They were geopolitical wheeler dealers and army commanders or warlords. 1871 was the best thing that ever happened to them. Turned them into cuddly little mascots driving around in buggies. When they were Machiavelli in a cassock for 1000 years…

@j26126 @flowerpotweller The Pope is a “warlord” as with other secular, religious leaders who have been adjacent to war. It’s hardly a complete judgement of the Papal role which encompasses many sectors (and has evolved) The Church is clear that there can be bad popes. It’s still the same church.

@_BikiniBottoms @WWUTTcom @LizzieMarbach Then stop arguing like a Jesuit. You crapped on the post Easter NT. Spread doubt about it. Undermined the Gospel itself by insinuating error in Luke-Acts itself. It is like defending the Papacy by spreading doubt about the Trinity - Another neat little Jesuit trick.

@CatahoulaCowboy @_BikiniBottoms @WWUTTcom @LizzieMarbach To defend an intertestamental text, you are spreading doubt about the reliability and historicity of the Acts of the Apostles… Luke-Acts is part of the core of the post Easter NT. At the very least defend the apocrypha without crapping on the NT.

@V122982841858 @flowerpotweller When the Pope was a warlord he went to war with England. The English fought back. They didn’t seem to think the Bishop of Rome had supreme authority. Rome brags about its history and continuity. So it is either the same Church 1066, 1588 and 2026 or it isn’t.

@j26126 @flowerpotweller I think you misunderstand papal infallibility when you talk of “approval” of invasions. In the same spirit, does England owe the US reparations then?

@_BikiniBottoms @WWUTTcom @LizzieMarbach Only a Catholic could start pointing out errors in Scripture trying to defend the Church… ‘See, Scripture’s a mess! That’s why you need the Papacy’ - Every Jesuit since the 16th century.

@Dudlypaul2 @NobodySperg The Oxford Study of 2015 says the Vikings and Romans left no genetic legacy in England. Only 10-20K Normans and Bretons came over in 1066. The Huguenots were only about 50K over 70 years. Windrush was also only 3-500K over 20 years. The replacement only began after 1998.

Protestantism has to jump through so many hoops and create so many caveats to attempt to make their worldview fit rather than submit to the authority of the Church that resolved these issues 1650 years ago. They want to do anything yet submit to Christ and commune with Him in the Holy Eucharist. I was once a schismatic and am still so ashamed for holding these views. Lord Jesus have mercy on me.

A great point highlighted by @gavinortlund — Melito’s OT canon list is our earliest and lends an incredible level of antiquity to what the Protestants later recognized as the canon of antiquity and primitive Christianity. youtu.be/U4MpUu8aDuI?si…

@ReformChecked @RupertLowe10 Reform picked Boriswave migrants while campaigning to sort out Boriswave migration. People who could barely speak English. One guy who seemed to have a problem with White people was given a glitzy welcome on stage by Farage.

@RupertLowe10 Looking forward to seeing how you'll manage to find 10,000+ candidates that are white only. After you criticised every black and brown candidate Reform stood it would surely be hypocritical for you to do the same?

@WoodstockW50883 @ZoomerHistorian @Steve_Laws_ Farage won’t deport anyone legal or illegal. They will play it Tory safe with their Tory defectors. There is only one party that has any chance of making progress. The choice is between continuity Tory Reform, Restore or ideologically pure micro parties.

The nationalist space was successful. We now have a mainstream party with over 100,000 members which openly accepts people with our ideas. The people surrounding Rupert are ideologically aligned with us, the activist base are literally our guys. The party obviously cannot run on our exact ideas, nor should it, but we haven't had to water ourselves down, which is what matters. Everything is drifting right. We are no longer the weird freakish outsiders begging everyone to wake up. We successfully dragged the entire scene to the right and we are no longer cast out. People are now coming in our direction, normal people. Yes, this will result in us being the new 'cool' and people will grift off of us in some ways, but that's actually a good thing. We can't be a small little cult forever, people are getting on board and many won't act exactly the way we like or be exactly how we want them to be, but we have a country to save and that's a sign that we're winning. Many are struggling to accept our own progress and insist on wanting to be anti-social. Why are people throwing up romans and acting like spergs when we're already in without watering down our politics in the slightest? Our way doesn't have to be the same as the Australian way or various past right wing movements. This is 21st century Britain. We're in and the public are coming to us. We have the youth. We're winning the argument amongst our people. We should be vigilant, the struggle has just begun, but let's take stock of our progress and adjust accordingly without changing our beliefs.

@WoodstockW50883 @ZoomerHistorian @Steve_Laws_ You are indeed the short clip king. Not going to forcibly deport people here legally? Sounds good. Remigration is trying to nudge and induce people to leave. It is bureaucratic and law focused. It seems like you want some Children of Men style system. Unpopular extremism.

@WoodstockW50883 @ZoomerHistorian @Steve_Laws_ Because he is mainstream and what he wants isn’t extreme. He should reject the far right label. No, of course he is not going to build a gestapo to throw every foreigner out. He is going to return us to being a normal country and that starts with normalising remigration.
