@Comptroller252 @TheIOGuy Lmao. There’s actually nothing funnier to an enlisted when an officer thinks he can chew someone out himself.😂

One of the shityest dumbass ass chewings I ever got was from a chaplain (LTC) screaming at me for violating CMTC (Hohenfels) rules for zipping up my humvee windows. It was 2am snowing and we were parked, just running the heater trying to keep from freezing. He threatened to call the CG and report me. He came by again an hour later and was happy that we were all appropriately frozen.

@ArtemisConsort Hierarchical economic structures are definitely necessary for advancement, although the mere presence of them doesn’t guarantee it either. That being said, “losing” and “winning” in life has always been a matter of perspective. Might be a good idea to think about that sometimes

I came out of a mushroom trip realizing we must allow people to lose in order to make progress, that trying to save everyone inevitably leads to collapse, that inequality is the engine of all growth, from evolution to economics to science. Not exactly a scientific insight, but not fluffy hippy stuff either.
David Sun@arcticinstincts

Has anyone ever come out of these “profound” psychedelic trips with a verifiable scientific insight or breakthrough in physics or psychology or something? Can you fix Africa now? Why do these trip reports just read like Eckhart Tolle Burning man Deepak Chopramaxxed guruslop

@FuQImFromTexas @oopmouth11 @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz The issue is that some methods are more efficient than others for higher order reasoning. They always say “a picture is worth a 1000 words” but you can read 1000 words a lot quicker than you can decipher them out of a photo.

@jDtheFreeman @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz This is actually your argumentm Your initial statement was that "inefficiency" was the result of approaching life through instinct rather than reason. You can't even characterize your own argument. Which is why you lost badly. x.com/i/status/20365…

@oopmouth11 @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz Memory recall can occur without words. Hell, it’s probably better with pictures. Higher order reasoning absolutely involves the comprehension of situations which naturally involves labeling them with words.

@oopmouth11 @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz It’s arguably better for warriors to rely on their instincts vs their higher functions in the situations thy were designed for. And for the record, no, I don’t think the illiterate do a whole lot of higher level thinking. That shouldn’t be hard to understand.

@oopmouth11 @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz It literally doesn’t matter whether your words are based off letters or “pictures” for labeling and comprehension. This is what happens when the only thing you use your brain for is a memory hole.

@oopmouth11 @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz Ok, you have to be just willfully ignoring what I’m talking about at this point. You are the only one reducing thinking to memory. THAT IS NOT WHAT THINKING MEANS. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

@jDtheFreeman @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz Im going to be honest with you. Your IQ is somewhere between 90-100, and you are simply not going to be able to understand this regardless of who is explaining it. Higher order reasoning comes from the frontal cortex, not the memory/hippocampus. Symbols are not words.

@oopmouth11 @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz You are so obsessed with the idea that all thinking is memory recall I’m surprised you have an IQ above a vegetable. I’m not talking about memory recall at all. I’m talking about higher order reasoning and functioning.

@jDtheFreeman @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz Sinply thinking in terms of whatever series of words comes to mind in a situation will give you vague results when you actualy try to process it. I guess the entire east asian continent that uses character based writing are illogical cultures that cant write logical things.

@oopmouth11 @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz Simply thinking in terms of whatever picture first comes to mind in a situation will give you vague results when you actually try and process it. There’s a reason why the word “logic” comes from the Greek “logos” which means “word”.
