I disagree that higher order reasoning involves words or language at all. It also doesnt necessarily involve picturing the issue in your mind. Unless I’m writing I never think in words and I also don’t think in pictures, at least not in pictures of the issue. My thinking is much more abstract in nature.

@oopmouth11 @FuQImFromTexas @Bensam123TV @BoulPizz Memory recall can occur without words. Hell, it’s probably better with pictures. Higher order reasoning absolutely involves the comprehension of situations which naturally involves labeling them with words.

I don’t really think in images either, I just think. I’ve honestly never even really thought about or considered how I “think”. I’ve sat here for a few minutes just think about different things. Doing math in my head, etc. When I do math I do see the numbers but it’s not like them being written on paper. I honestly don’t know how to explain it, it’s like a shape that connects or completes as I get closer to the answer. When I think of other things like building something with my hands it’s completely abstract it’s like an image in my head but it’s not the image of what I’m working on. It’s like an abstract painting. Except, and I’m not sure why this popped into my head, but building Legos. When I think about looking at the picture in the instructions I imagine my hands putting that piece together exactly how it looks in the instructions. Lots of times when I get stuck on a difficult problem I stop working on it and I do anything else to take my mind off of the issue. Then, like my mind is still working on it in the background without me noticing, the solution will just pop into my head. I have degrees in EE and physics so I believe myself to be a pretty efficient and logical thinker. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Bensam123TV @oopmouth11 @BoulPizz I don’t do any of those things by talking to myself in my head. I honestly can believe so many people do that. It’s so inefficient. About the only time I think in words is when I’m writing.

You have a very rudimentary understanding of the types of jobs out there. I have degrees in EE and physics. My job and the jobs of the people I work with can’t just “be trained”. It takes a certain type of person to do what I do. Even with the education I’ve seen a lot of people wash out just because they weren’t able to do the work. There is a reason that my position commands the salary that it does. I also own a business in a completely different industry. Neither of my jobs are going anywhere. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@FuQImFromTexas @Dash_023 @WallStreetApes Unless you are in EMS or law, pretty much any job can be trained. Some may take longer, but theres also stress levels, heavy labor vs desk work. Different jobs require different skill. Jobs are going to plummet in the next 5-10 years, already are. Enjoy lickin' corpo boots tho.

American shows his local McDonalds no longer wants any interaction with customers, you can’t even view the menus anymore on their main screens Everything is directed to their self service kiosks Employee wage requirements went up. So everyone’s being replaced with automation This is dystopian

If it wasn’t worth it then people wouldn’t work there and they would have to raise their pay to retain employees. Obviously enough people see the benefit of continuing to work there because the company is clearly running just fine. I’m glad you got a job that you’re happy with. At $28/hr obviously it’s not something that everyone can do or it’s a job that many people don’t like so it requires a higher pay to retain employees or you live in a high cost of living area so pay is higher. I live in a very low cost of living area but I’m highly educated and highly experienced in my field so my labor is in high demand. I make considerably more than $28/hr. My wife got bored at home and just got a job to get out of the house while I’m gone and she makes $14/hr but it’s just an entry level, basic job and she’s not really doing it for the money. My bonus check this year was more than she’ll make all year. But that’s the difference between skilled and unskilled labor. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@FuQImFromTexas @Dash_023 @WallStreetApes Literally took a week to train for my job and I make 28/hr. It's also a remote job, less stressful, and entry level. McDs pays well in other countries. US allows companies to pay shit wages and treat people like shit. They do *not* have to, especially profiting 8 billion.

That’s why I said there’s a tipping point. Automation just continues to get cheaper and cheaper while wages increase. At some point the lines cross and automation becomes cheaper than a human worker. Look at the self serve touch screens. 20 years ago they would have been far too expensive to install to replace a counter worker. Now they’re so cheap it’s a no brainer. There are also many addition benefits to automation. It never calls in sick, it never has personal issues, it performs perfectly every time and it does this for years on end.

@FuQImFromTexas @MadMazer001 @WallStreetApes Factory’s are not the same as a quick service restaurant. The average restaurant simply does not do the volume to justify the massive costs of automation. Most will either stick to skeleton crew or close. Most restaurants only employ 2-4 people at a time anyway.

@DanClarkSports People are complaining about the price but it really hasn’t changed all that much from the premium gloves when I was a kid. My Rawlings HOH was right at $200 in the 90’s. My son’s A2K’s were around $300 in the 2020’s.

This is probably a boomer take, but I'll proudly own it. I much prefer the days when a baseball glove had a natural leather tone - i.e. tan, brown, black, and blonde.

I’ve spent 20 years in the robotics field. I can tell you, it’s coming. There are plenty of industrial robots that run 24/7 for YEARS without any maintenance. They also 100% can clean up after themselves, that’s a simple engineering solution, not a robotics/automation one. The only thing holding it back at this point is cost and automation gets cheaper by the day. Eventually we will reach a tipping point where automation becomes cheaper than a human and then the change will come fast. I’ve watched huge factories full of employees become huge factories that almost run themselves without human intervention. It’s not far out now before this becomes the norm.

@MadMazer001 @WallStreetApes They tried doing that. Problem is all the tests have been a disaster. If the machine breaks down you have to suddenly shut down the store. Then there’s the mess. Robots don’t clean after themselves. When you add a cleaning crew you might as well just stick with a skeleton crew

It’s 100% about wages. In a free market wages are a type supply/demand commodity. Your wage is based upon the difficulty and specialization of the type of work you do. The fewer the number of workers that can do your job vs the number of positions determines the value of your work. A job at McDonald’s that someone can be trained for in a week doesn’t have much value because anyone can do it. A surgeon which is much more difficult and has far fewer qualified workers is much more valuable work. If you want more money then make your work more valuable. That will get you much farther in life than complain about “greedy corporations”. 😂

That muscular black dude with the big smile who dances when he eats food gets a lot of hate. Reality Check: He isn't hurting anybody, and if any of his "haters" could go that viral and get those views they would do it. And they would do WORSE things in exchange for the views. People literally suck dicks for less views than he gets. Somehow he is a problem? Let a nigga eat.

The whole point is to make them as uncomfortable as possible here. Cut off banking, drivers licenses, air travel, bus travel, train travel, access to jobs, stop them from renting apartments, no access to social services. Soon, they’ll be so inconvenienced that they’ll want to go back home and we won’t have to spend the resources to arrest, house them, hold them, provide court services, etc. It’s cheaper and easier for us all the way around. One step at a time. We would have never gotten ICE into the airports but once again the democrats unintentionally handed the country a gift wrapped in a bow. Now it’s going to be very difficult for them to remove ICE from airports. 😂

Yes it could but the rest of the world is definitely not scared because we all know that it’s an impossibility. Y’all can’t even live next door to each other without getting into a machete fight and hacking everyone apart. We see how you act everywhere else in the world. You form gangs and then go about killing each other. A united Africa will only happen if whites or Asians take over. 🤷🏻‍♂️
