On est en train de bâtir une économie plus forte et plus solide partout dans la région indo-pacifique, puis l’ASEAN est un partenaire super important là-dedans. En 2025, nos échanges commerciaux dans ce coin-là ont dépassé les 52 milliards de dollars. En concluant l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-ASEAN, on va pouvoir faire tomber encore plus de barrières, faciliter l’accès aux marchés et créer de nouvelles opportunités pour le commerce et les investissements.
Aujourd’hui, le Canada a annoncé plus de 10 millions de dollars dans de nouveaux projets qui vont aider ce partenariat-là à grandir. Ça va servir à renforcer la biosécurité, lutter contre le crime financier, protéger les enfants contre l’exploitation, soutenir les travailleurs migrants et encourager le leadership des femmes partout dans l’ANASE.

The US could make Canada put US dairy on our shelves and make the provinces put US booze back but Canadians will not buy it.
Most Canadians have been against US dairy even before the 51st state bull and forcing us to stock US dairy and booze will only make us boycott it harder.
Canadians are petty and you will not make us buy your products. Especially not fresh produce that could give us exploding diarrhea.

He can tariff the shit out of us, however that will never make me buy a bottle of booze from the US, I will never buy dairy or their cars. I am all in for a expanded boycott of US products.
