Some years the Thanksgiving ride is epic..other years it’s just a sloppy mess. But that doesn’t stop the tradition of beers, music and fire pits post ride. Going on 11 years with the fellas for doing this with @jTfromCO @IdiotWinded and the rest of the boys. #HappyThanksgiving

This is what the Blackstone looked like most of the day. 36 burgers, 4lbs of bacon, 2 packages of hot dogs and some toasted bagels. Kids finished 3rd overall in the region for the season.

I had to stop at McD’s for fries and Coke to get home. Bike food was not doing me any good with the heat. Longest ride this year was 40 miles. Big thanks to @IdiotWinded for pacing me home, @joelflom for putting it together and @jTfromCO for the beers post ride that hit the spot.

I love my buddies who come up with crazy rides. Yesterday we rode the entire Highline Canal trail. Rode the train to the airport and then home. 14 of us cruising around 70 miles under 6hrs. Big pieces of me left all over the trail though. Heat got me for the last 20 miles at 90*.

My Bontrager XXX seatpost has let me down for the final time. Tried everything to make it work and it continued to slip. Even at the proper torque, it slipped then cracked. Biggest POS purchase in the last decade. Back to the dropper post and the OneUp kit for drop bars.

So I have GREAT news and bad news…my youngest was chosen for the U13 All Star team for our little league. Now we start playing tourney baseball for the rest of the summer. Bad news, Im never seeing my bike outside of hanging in the garage until school starts again. #ProudDad

Ace always has somebody there that can answer questions. They rescreen windows/doors, offer small engine repair, refill propane, have any size bolt/nut/screw and somebody’s grandpa who knows what they are doing is worth the 15% for a proper answer! Plus I can take my bike inside
