I need Xabi Alonso to be challenging for the title if he was properly backed by the board. Let him decide the ins and outs of the team. Michael Carrick’s United took advantage of only playing 40 games this season. We need to do the same and compete next season.

It would’ve been another pass way to get Champions League football and a trophy for Xabi Alonso in his first season. I don’t think one game a week can be seen as a positive. Alonso has the impossible task to change everything about this football club.

Granit Xhaka would be an excellent signing. Just make him captain as well. The type of short-term signing we should make this summer.

I honestly don’t understand why Malo Gusto was used over Josh Acheampong all season.

Josh Acheampong has interest from United and Bayern, but lets first freeze him out for not signing a new deal and then bench him once he does, for a hapless Malo Gusto.

I feel for Xabi Alonso. Changing the culture of this football club seems such an impossible task. These players don’t seem like they want to become winners.

Our players don’t care about winning. Why should we care?
