@Dr_Christoph I say Mostly contributes, but there is definitely a lot of foreign currency in the land of neuroimaging (e.g., AFNI, BIDs formatting, & HCP pipelines, quickly knowing functional coordinate divisions… etc) & metagenomics (scripts, pipelines…)

People who left academia for industry: do you feel like your prior work MOSTLY contributed to your ability to do your current job well, or MOSTLY is like having a bunch of foreign currency from a country that doesn't exist anymore?
