Oh, @Nickhulme61 no working vending machine in A&E. So You have a room full of people, can’t get anything to eat, everyone too scared to blink in case they miss their place in the queue -

Another night in Ipswich A&E - being quoted in excess of 8 hours for an 89 year old to be seen! @Nickhulme61 hope your management team are proud. Sure we’ll still be here by the time your senior managers arrive for work - would welcome someone to come and see this first hand.

So how do the #NHS do it. No idea how much @Nickhulme61 & @ESNEFT spent on new Ipswich A&E department but it’s not enough! How can you open brand new facility that provides a worse patient experience! Not political but sitting here for hours the systems broken ! @BBCSuffolk

As an environmental advocate, I am often asked if I have hope. But how can you when you see a graph like this? “Do you have hope for the future?” “What gives you hope?” These are questions that I have grappled with for years, and my response may be quite blunt. 1. Hope is a dangerous word. Don't get me wrong, I understand the importance of morale, especially in difficult times. It keeps us going. But it can also be used as an excuse for inaction. We say things like, "I hope someone will fix this," or "I hope things will get better soon." But hope on its own will not solve the environmental crisis and the accelerating speed at which it is taking place. 2. If we want to have hope for the future, we have to earn it. We have to take action, daily. Especially those who are most responsible. 3. Equally, this shouldn't leave the rest of us to merely hope they will get on with it. We need everyone to take action now. 4. Hope shouldn't be passive. It's an active journey that can start with all of us becoming environmentally literate. Only when we understand the impact of our actions on the natural world can we make informed decisions. So please take another really good look at this graph, and understand that every fraction of a degree of warming in our oceans has an enormous impact. Then realise that every action we take matters.

Hardiness has 3 prongs: 1. Commitment: Accept the situation. Don't turn away, lean in. 2. Control: Figure out what you can do. Take productive action. 3. Challenge: View life as an ongoing process during which change is inevitable.

Only option presented, sign yourself out and leave. No clue when you will see a Dr, was running 10 hour wait but has reduced. 111 just referring everyone here, they have no other options - A&E, out of hour GPs, and minor injury unit all full and over flowing.

@Nickhulme61 @ESNEFT So @Nickhulme61 here we go again. After a very efficient CT scan this morning now back for results, being told a 10 hour wait to see a Doctor and get the results. Ipswich Hospital is broken.

@Nickhulme61 @ESNEFT @Nickhulme61 I will guarantee an email will be on its way, as well as FOI request to trust for details on staffing and performance of A&E last night. Still waiting to see a Dr, so that’s my priority at the moment. Email will follow shortly after once I have sorted my welfare.

If anyone wants my view of @ESNEFT please let me know. @Nickhulme61 - 12 hours now and still not seen a Dr - catalogue of issues from 111, 999, ambulance service & A&E. A service I only call upon at time of critical need and it totally fails me!
