WATCH: Elon Musk points out that "the fundamental moral flaw of the left is empathy for the criminals and not empathy for the victims." "It's undermining the people's faith in the legal system. It needs to stop."

Ryan Smith's influence on the roster brought in a bunch of guys who have nothing to do with the morals and values of BYU, don't represent the University or its mission. None of them ever meshed well with the university, the program, or the team and were all there to play "support" to Aj Dybansta but all were useless players who could not score points or shoot the ball. Aj developed well during his time at BYU, so for him, things went well, but for the team, obviously no. The other thing. Kevin Young is not a good college basketball coach. He tries to play the NBA way of having one star player with a bunch or supporting cast standing around watching the star player score. That does not work in college ball. In college ball, to win games, have to play as a team. He forgot all about ball movement around the parameter to get a 3 point shooter open and get a lot of 3 point shots because instead he just though he could depend on AJ to take it into the paint time and time again all alone while playing 1 against 3. Both Kevin Young and Ryan Smith have ruined BYU basketball. Dallin Hall was a great point guard who never should have been cut loose for Rob Wright. This whole thing stinks of Ryan Smith whose intentions may have been good, but knows nothing about the spirit of BYU and what makes BYU great and what makes BYU Basketball work. BYU's team was far, far better with the holdovers from the Mark Pope team when he left for Kentucky. They still played parameter ball with great movement and great shooters. I will take one Treven Knell over and Dallin Hall over all of the guys who don't fit Kevin Young and Ryan Smith brought in. They have ruined BYU basketball. Although his intentions may be good, Ryan Smith is only ruining and corrupting the moral fabric of BYU sports and their performance.
