Explaining my job to my grandparents: “Its called Magic. You start with a full hand of seven and depending on the format you play, you can have only 1 copy of a card or 4 or maybe more. Each turn has like a million phases. Don’t worry, we’ll cover the stack during dessert”

A couple of things are obvious tonight. 1. The tension between trying not to crash the economy and the health strictures is stretching to breaking point. 2. The national cabinet has to stop making decisions late at night to give governments a chance to communicate key messages.
