@Justobserv76205 @DocShivSharma The majority of professions and especially banking compare theme selves to 2008 terms as economics growth allowed wages to increase until 2008. In that case the UK economy as a whole is doing amazing in comparison to 2000 but that would be dumb when we grew to a peak in 2008?

Another graph showing doctors have suffered one of the steepest real terms pay cuts in both public and private sector. The next workforce plan must seriously consider how pay is being set if it truly wants a sustainable and driven workforce. Pay for NHS staff must be restored.

@Justobserv76205 @DocShivSharma So did every other job? Thats incredibly daft to say they were paid more than in 2000 as in that case most professions are. If so why are we comparing wages across all industries to 2008? Wages grew until 2008 until the financial crash. It doesn’t matter about the profession
