@JEChalmers You've already spent the money that you retained in the budget tho, about $3b a year. So you secretly love it

1 year ago today the Liberals confirmed they‘d vote against Labor’s tax cuts for every taxpayer.
Australians would be $50 a week worse off if Angus Taylor had his way on repealing Labor's tax cuts and cost of living relief.
Labor is delivering a tax cut this year and another next year, as well cheaper medicines and more bulk billing to help with the cost of living.

@jace007 @liamlibertarian @Batman2242 @JanSummersalt Oh do tell me how you butter bread or make hamburger, or even sausage in bread with onion just using tongs

@PeterBent565 @liamlibertarian @Batman2242 @JanSummersalt The person I was responding to said it was a rule in "every state". I just posted the first state that make their statement incorrect. But I agree, Albo should be wearing Hazmat cooking anyone's food.
Here are the other states "rules":

English

@jace007 @liamlibertarian @Batman2242 @JanSummersalt It's not Victoria & even if it was you'd be getting him to do it at any school.

@Sven_z0r @liamlibertarian @Batman2242 @JanSummersalt Even when getting a Bunnings snag the cook chuck's the snags in a tin or right on the slice of bread for others to serve...
English

@jace007 @liamlibertarian @Batman2242 @JanSummersalt Except when they then pick up a bun to put the sausage in it...
English

@Batman2242 @JanSummersalt It's a food safety requirement in every state, if the food is being sold

We’ve set up a new Fuel Supply Taskforce, led by Anthea Harris.
Working with states and territories, the taskforce will make sure fuel gets where it’s needed most.
It will bring together experts and industry to protect our fuel supply, and make sure we have the latest information on supply and demand.

@r3tarddownunder @AlboMP My wallet is lighter so I can walk to places instead of taking the bus

Can anyone from Australia actually name anything in their lives that has been made better since @AlboMP became PM in 2022?

English

@chrisprimod Rates were always going up, the RBA meeting notes only mentioned inflation due to war as a possible future issue. All politicians are opportunists, why pick on only one? Judge them all

@PeteZogoulas @DrewPavlou @AlboMP needs to watch. Clean the mess, show us the real state of our economy

After two months of investigating the NDIS, @DrewPavlou and I finally got the all clear from the lawyers.
The exposé drops in 2 hours.
GOD BLESS AUSTRALIA.

@JEChalmers @grok where is Australia's economic growth experienced in the December quarter stemming from? Has GDP per capita also improved?
English

BREAKING: New numbers show the strongest growth in our economy in almost three years.
The Australian economy grew 0.8% in the December quarter, to be 2.6% higher through the year - this growth is much stronger, broader and very welcome.
This is faster growth than any major advanced economy.
Economic growth is picking up, business investment is strengthening, more than 1.2 million jobs have been created, unemployment is low, and participation is at near record highs, but we know there are big challenges too.

•Top cop reveals Grace Tame’s fate after ‘globalise the Intifada’ speech
NSW’s top cop has made a surprising admission regarding a controversial chant made by former Australian of the Year, Grace Tame, during a Sydney rally.
#NathanSchmidt
Former Australian of the Year Grace Tame is unlikely to face charges after chanting “globalise the Intifada” at a pro-Palestine rally, with NSW’s top cop admitting he had not watched the speech.
Ms Tame, a sexual assault survivor and advocate, stirred controversy earlier this month after she was filmed chanting “From Gadigal to Gaza, globalise the Intifada” at a protest opposing Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s visit to Australia.
The phrase is linked to two popular uprisings in the Occupied Palestinian Territories – but is regarded by swathes of the Jewish community as a call to violence.
It has been criminalised in recent weeks in Queensland, with a NSW parliament probe recommending the Labor government do the same.
However, under current laws, the term had been “reviewed on a number of occasions” and not found to meet the criteria of inciting racial hatred, NSW Police Commissioner
Mal Lanyon told a NSW budget estimates hearing on Friday afternoon.
“It’s not a prohibited term at the moment,” Mr Lanyon said.
“It may be offensive to some members of the community, and I’ll certainly accept that.”
The questions by Liberal MLC Susan Carter related to Crimes Act 1900 section 93ZAA, or the offence of publicly inciting hatred on ground of race.

@UnderdogNBA It wasn't just a trip, it was a shoulder too. Coach needs to watch footage

Coach Daigneault on Lu Dort's ejection:
"I will say this... if a player is running up the floor and gets tripped, we expect a Flagrant 2 from this point forward. That's all. That's the precedent."

Status alert: Lu Dort has been ejected Friday after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul.
