@PussInGroots He’s credited bc he’s a writer and producer on the show and they used characters he created. I would hold off on too much blame going his way. This was very much a Disney mandated project pushed by the Iger admin.

Yes this movie is bad but don’t go after Filoni yet, he wasn’t in the chair when this was greenlit after 7 years of no films. Everyone just needs to take their jabs and see what happens next year with an open mind.

I still find the most baffling story decision in The Mandalorian the show to be him encountering Mandalorians who don’t wear their helmets who seem to be fine, and that NOT end with him realizing the helmet stuff is nonsense

The main problem with Mandalorian and Grogu is that the lead character is incredibly, famously static. You can build TV shows around static characters because the episodic format allows you to pursue satisfying B-plots. It’s harder to build movies around static characters

Decided to go see the Mandalorian movie after things got out of hand in the game. People saying it's worse than Rise of Skywalker are exaggerating, but the movie basically has no substance. Nothing that happens in it is really worth caring about. It's just kinda non-descript and inoffensive.
