To those entering the Catholic Church tonight: The world will try to take this joy. You will lose friends. You will make enemies. Because the world despises Jesus. Before the world hated you, it hated Him first. And because you love Him, the world will hate you too. Have no fear. Jesus has overcome the world. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! WELCOME HOME!

Nervous to go to sleep because when I wake up in the morning I’m going to see on the news that Trump has deployed boots on the ground in Iran. It’s going to get really bloody. The worst part is that it’s another country’s war —who, by the way- have already stated that they will NOT be sacrificing their own military servicemen and sending in troops. Nobody wanted this war, nobody voted for this war. We’ve been deceived and betrayed. Pray for our country.

Mission accomplished. As promised, Pope Leo XIV carried the Cross for the entire Way of the Cross at the Colosseum—his first as pope. The last time a pope bore the Cross there was twenty years ago, when Benedict XVI carried it at the beginning of the liturgy. Before him, St. John Paul II was the first to personally carry the Cross through all the Colosseum Stations each year from 1980 to 1994.

@Stirrrthestew @TPUSA @PressSec Here, I’ll let Erika herself answer that question! This is her on April 11th, 2025 explaining how there is no such thing as balance when women try to have a career while also having kids, and how if a woman does work then it shouldn’t be until the kids are in high school

Thank you, @Pontifex, for your faithful and courageous witness in speaking out against grave injustice and violence. In a world so often marked by confusion and moral silence, your voice reflects the clarity of the Gospel and the perennial teaching of the Church. As the Successor of Peter, you remind the faithful of our solemn duty to uphold the dignity of every human person, created in the image and likeness of God, and to stand firmly for truth, even when it is costly. Your words echo the call of Christ Himself, who commands us not to remain silent in the face of evil, but to be light in the darkness. May your leadership continue to strengthen the Church, awaken consciences, and draw all people closer to the justice, mercy, and peace that flow from the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ🙏🏽✝️
Pope Leo XIV@Pontifex

I continue to follow the situation in the Middle East with dismay. Like other regions of the world, it is torn apart by war and violence. We cannot remain silent in the face of the suffering of so many defenseless victims of these conflicts. What wounds them wounds all of humanity. The death and pain caused by these wars is a scandal for the entire human family and a cry that rises to God!
