@nxwestmidlands @diamondbuses I’m of the opinion that any significant change to a crucial bus service should be made publicly available which is why I asked. There’s 19 bus service providers access to the local Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Any removal of bus stops for senior passengers who be simply wrong.

@diamondbuses There’s public speculation that the 19 @nxwestmidlands bus service is going to me run by Diamond buses in 2026. There’s a worry that a number of bus stops will be removed. There’s no information on your website that can reassure members of the public. 1/

@ellrbrown @ReissOmari Different unis completely so don’t think many are going to make that journey. Might be useful for any students who live south city Northfield etc. & you’ll be able to interchange with the midland metro eventually there to.

Wait, we’ve just opened up a new bus only road in Birmingham City Centre, and there’s only TWO services (61 & 63) that stop down here? There’s 4 bus stops and only 1 is in use? Make it make sense 😩

@Anna231A @jordanbhx Especially if you moved say the 45/47/97 there, from the stops by boots. You’d sort of be moving them out of the middle of the city centre.

@jordanbhx Trouble with moving bus stops right to the edge of the city centre is that for people like me who can't walk far, getting into the centre becomes too difficult so I rarely bother.

We could very easily relocate the bus stops on Carrs Lane to (new) Albert Street, Corporation Street and here, enabling the closure of the very narrow Carrs Lane to traffic, introduce frontage on the former M&S, improve the green patch and extend High Street’s pedestrianisation.

@nxwestmidlands, we would like to formally make a complaint that Smethwick (and by extension, Bearwood) is contained, neither in the Black Country travel card area, OR the Sandwell travel card area. We consider this to be a great diplomatic slight. How do you respond?

@BrummieGerryM @bbcmtd @nxwestmidlands Think you forgot the X1? Very low bridge at Tile Cross restricts the service to single decker operation. Doubt you will have to stand on the extension bit to the airport, can’t imagine it will be that busy.

@will_chadwick Whats wrong with a commuter bus. They are used as spare vehicles with summer timetables in place, universities finished for summer etc. People make long journeys on them everyday anyway.

Also any explanation as to why we were sold coach tickets at £50 return each and were sent on a deeply hot double decker commuter bus? Do you think that’s remotely acceptable? It’s 27 degrees and climbing …

Hi @nationalexpress (or is it actually @nxwestmidlands?) Do you or indeed @glastonbury have any explanation as to why you’re sending half empty buses back to Bristol when there’s a long standby queue for people that have missed their bus or are early?

@SGreen142214 Roof is double the size??? 27 is going to use the same vehicle type the 169 uses. & im fairly sure you mean Solihull not sally hall?

The roof is double the size is going from Rubery all the way to Sally Hall and it’s not a direct run either it’s gonna struggle to keep timekeeping cause 169 always used to struggle with the route itself with cars and everything else

@TransportForWM I would like to complain related to the new 27 route it is utter Ludacris that’s a bus that operates on the 27 would fit down some of the roads where the 169 operates at the moment.
