BREAKING: A French court rules that the 67-year-old Senegalese migrant Ousmane Diallo can’t be held criminally responsible for killing 18-year-old Théo. Ousmane became furious in a mobile phone shop after having been told he would have to pay €93 for calls made to Senegal. He stabbed Théo in the chest on one of his first days on the job. The court ruled that Ousmane is mentally ill and will be sent to a psychiatric hospital instead until he recovers.

I’ve been reading the Epstein Files and what strikes me as an important point that everyone else seems to be missing is how much of the evidence implicating well known individuals in his endeavors consists entirely of emails Epstein and his brother sent to each other or to themselves and does not actually include actual correspondence from those people implicated in the emails. There’s no actual smoking gun, just a lot of hearsay. At this juncture, it should be necessary to point out that everyone involved should be presumed innocent because it’s far too easy to make allegations about people and just run with it if you already have some bias against them. That doesn’t hold up to scrutiny, much less a court of law.
