Is it possible to be forgiven and be punished at the same time? I think if you are forgiven, you shouldn’t be punished, and if you are punished, then you aren’t forgiven. 😒

@one_kinda_girl So perhaps the better conclusion is this: forgiveness is personal, while punishment is institutional or corrective. When punishment is driven by justice, protection, or discipline, it can coexist with forgiveness.
